[vol 1 OST] General Kill Bill volume 1 soundtrack talk
And I’m still looking for one little piece of music.

I don’t know if it’s “Day of Anger” or “Long Days of Vengeance” but it’s a Spaghetti Western track that plays right when the killer in white removes the sword from O-ren’s dad.

If I could just get that I’ll be a happy camper.
ATTENTION AGAIN EVERYONE

Killbill2.net have done an update with one new music d/l

Excellent song but way too short.

JW

awsome!

Does anyone know what it is that is playing in the background when the Bride is talking to Sophie in the trunk? Is it a KB original?

According to the booklet that came with the soundtrack, that’s Yagyuu Ichizokuno Inbou (aka Yagyu Conspiracy).

OK… the revenge music where The Bride gets flashbacks of getting beat up is the “Ironside” theme, and yes, there is an excerpt of it on the soundtrack (track 16)

The instrumental piece of music that plays as The Bride is fighting O-Ren is called “Don’t let me be misunderstood” although it’s only on for for a minute or so and there are no lyrics, the proper song is on for 10 minutes + and there are lyrics to it on the CD.

I am looking to find the name of two songs from the movie. The first piece is when The Bride is looking for the pussy wagon. It’s kind of a 70’s jazz song with funkee guitars, as if it would had been in Jackie Brown. The song stops dead as The Bride opens the door to the truck. It is NOT the theme to Green-Hornet… that is when The Bride is flying into Tokyo.

The second song is when the bride is fighting the 88’s and she starts rolling around chopping off legs and feet. I really want that song.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

Fraser.
I have one question…

The revenge them, the one that begins to play when The Bride sees one of the assassains or someone from her past who has wronged her…what is the name of that, and is it part of the sountrack?
It’s the theme song from the tv show Ironside, and it is on the soundtrack, all 16 seconds of it.

My bad undyingsoul, I didnt see your post.

is the vinyl version out? is ti still available? i NEED this!!!

what exactly is the vinyl version again?

limited edition vinyl lp version of the soundtrack—i think it comes with a poster too----it may already be sold out, or maybe it hasn’t been released yet…the kill bill website advertises it but when i click to order, the site says “item not available at this time”----i said goddamn…

at least the vinyl version WAS out. My sister bought KB soundtrack (LP-version) for me from Miami. She’s coming

home to Finland for christmas and brings it to me. Can’t wait for it.

yea - i saw the vinyl version @ TOWER RECORDS but I already bought the cd!

anyhow - maybe I’ll sell it since I collect vinyl…

you can never own too much tarantino stuff. i also have the cd. The vinyl will have a place in my bookshelf right next to my reservoir dogs warehouse playset

with all corrections.

by the way, the GET UP GET DOWN by The Dramatics, is actually from the soundtrack of DEAD PRESIDENTS, a great movie.

Does anybody know the soundtrack when The Bride is fighting outside in the snow (near House of Blue Leaves) with O-ren…i checked the Cd but its not on it…

It is on the soundtrack. It’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Santa Esmeralda, track 10.

If you go to that link that came up in this topic earlier (the one that has the unreleased tracks), you’ll find that it’s dead. That part of the site has been redesigned, but if you go to the main page and click on “Rare Music” a new window will open up. A new unreleased track is available - “Police Check Point”

Does anyone know the song that Elle Driver is whistling while she’s walking in the hospital on her way to kill the Bride? I was told that it may be a Winnie the Pooh rhyme! Can anyone confirm this?

lol. I don’t know who told you that, but it’s from a 1968 movie called “Twisted Nerve”. That theme being whistled was a tune by Bernard Hermmann, the famous composer behind Psycho and pretty much every Hitchcock movie.

Twisted Nerve is about psychotic killers. It doesn’t get any farther from “Winnie the Pooh” than that.
