[vol 1 OST] General Kill Bill volume 1 soundtrack talk

Does anyone know what song was playing in the earlier

official kill bill website (the one with the big-scale sword

in it)? It was similiar to Nancy Sinatra’s Bang Bang but still

the tune was different from one in bang bang. Was that

song just composed for the website or does it have a name?

When you listen to bang bang’s lyrics you realize that it must

have been one of those songs to inspire QT to write KB.

Sad and beautiful.

Usurper: Thanks, you just provided the highpoint of my day

Hey guys, I Friggin love Kill Bill with all of my body, including me wee wee. No seriuosly, i too listen the shit out of this soundtrack. I cant Express my love for it in words.

I was wandering if anyone has got the music to the cool Shaw Brothers Feature presentation thing at the begining of the movie? Or does any know how i could just get a hold of that clip? And is it in the begining of all shaw brothers films?

And if anyone would like to know Mr. Tarantino will be on Canada Am tommorow discussing Kill Bill. Should be interesting.

I really love the soundtrack. I don’t quite understand what RZA’s contributing to the whole deal though, except ruining the Seven Notes in Black with his ranting. The Crane he wrote sounds very amateurish too - as if random notes and sounds put together. The following White Lightning by Charles Bernstein is cool though.

Anyone know where to find the ORIGINAL full version of Seven Notes in Black? Its got a really beautiful melody and feeling to it. I’d just like to actually HEAR it properly… without someone re-hashing the story over it.

short segment of 7 Notes here; http://www.braineater.com/fulci/7note.wav

Or buy a CD with the song plus OTHER Horror Film soundtrack selections here; <LINK_TEXT text=“http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/ … 1471290325”>http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=2U7T9IUZ4G&ean=21471290325</LINK_TEXT>

oh cmon! "OREN ISHII. Half chinese, half japaneesee. Half American, oh what a species!"

Like MoRZ47 so eloquently put it

RZA > your life

P.S. I have the original song.

LOL. You forgot the quick cocaine sniff before the “oh what a specie”.

The movie version must’ve been re-mastered by the sound of it. Damn, I’d like to get my hands on that one, instrumental.

If you’ve the original song can you put it someplace for dl?
Because my new topic was banned by the admin I am going to post here.  But first, I thought it was my right to be able to create new topics.  Second, I didn’t want to make a post 23 spots down in this topic because less people will end up reading it and it was not what they were talking about.  Third, my topic is about a song that IS NOT on the soundtrack, so why are you making me post in a subject called KILL BILL SOUNDTRACK.  Oh yeah, like you said, that wasn’t meant to be rude.

Anyway, I remember during the film a song in the background at the begginning of the fight between Black Momba and Oren Ishii.  It sounds similar the song by Hotei Tomoyaso but I think its different.  If anyone has any ideas please post.
I’m not sure, but isn’t that “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda” ? I do believe so it is, cause the beginnig is the same of the song as in the movie (and of trailer n° 2), however it’s instrumental in the movie, on the cd it isn’t…

I’ve been listening to this non-stop ever since I bought it. After watching the movie it just gains another meaning but stands so great on its own. My favorites are “Bang Bang” by Nancy Sinatra, Bacalov’s “The Grand Duel - (Parte Prima)”, “Twisted Nerve”, RZA/Charles Bernstein “Crane / White Lightning” and “The Lonely Shepherd”. “Ironside” is such a wicked sound as well. But I just got to say that “Battle without honor or humanity” by Tomoyasu Hotei remains the coolest instrumental piece ever made!

By the way… I would also love to have the “Ode to Oren Ishii” without the rap… I think it kinda spoils it.

Dude THANK YOU ! ;D

I don’t remember Music Box Dancer from the movie? where did it play?

I think it plays when the Bride is walking to the Pussy Wagon after she kills Vernita, while Hattori Hanzo is speaking.

Thanks to jmanin2 for sharing his files. Enjoying the Ghost Dog too. I have just about everything except a few listed by usurper.

Armundo - David Allen Young

Champions of Death - Shuzsuko Kibushi

Yaguyu Conspiracy - Toshiaki Tsushima

Nobody seems to have these.

And I’m still looking for one little piece of music.

I don’t know if it’s “Day of Anger” or “Long Days of Vengeance” but it’s a Spaghetti Western track that plays right when the killer in white removes the sword from O-ren’s dad.

If I could just get that I’ll be a happy camper.

No Problem.

Those are the exact ones I need as well. Hopefully sometime soon something will turn up on soulseek.
