When a Stranger Calls
Narnia!!! hahahah that was so bad I loved it! I really enjoyed how horrible it was
Gods and Generals
Pearl Harbor
We Were Soldiers
The Thin Red Line
Jersey Girl
Fudoh
Gozu
I see The Matrix: Revolutions on a few people’s lists. I don’t particularly like the film as is either, but would anyone agree with me that it would have been a lot better if it was edited down to somewhere between 90 and 100 minutes?
No… everyone just hated the subpar special effects, not to mention that slow motion fight scenes suck. They definitley could have cut the death scene down.

Matrix Reloaded would have been better cut down a little bit. The ending was a little stretched and that fucking Zion segment in the beginning was just horrible, otherwise I kinda liked it. Revolutions on the other hand was pure shit from beginning to end.
I own the original Amityville Horror, but I have to agree that it is far from being a great horror movie. What the fuck is up with the guy going to save the dog in the end and falling into a pool of I don’t know what? Horrible ending that was. If you want to watch a great haunted house movie watch The Changeling and be amazed.

I only watch them if there are more things to the movie than the horror (The Shining for example). [/quote]
I actually hate The Shining (I’m not a big Kubrick fan) I like Jack in it though. I love the horror genre, so I’ll watch almost any horror film out there except the modern remakes. Although I loved the Dawn of the Dead remake. Totally cool. Zack Snyder gets props for that one.
Scar: I hear ya on Amityville. No its not the best, but its good. I mean its a haunted house movie basically. I just like watching James Brolin go nuts. He ends up looking like a freaking psychotic hobo by the end. Id say its average for a 70s horror film, nothing spectacular.

WHAAAAA?!! That movie is a beautiful work of cinema IMO. Pearl Harbor is another thing. Thats a real POS. H

Gods and Generals

that really is a terrible movie, I never even finished watching it. Don’t agree on thin red line tho, it’s one of my favourite war movies.
I hated Dog Day Afternoon. What a fucking dreary, doom and gloom show. If I want to watch a movie about a trans-sexual bank robber, I’ll just edit Point Break and To Wong Foo so that Patrick Swasey will be dressed in drag as he cleans the place out.
I like Dog Day alot. It certainly doesnt belong on a Top 10 Worst Films list IMO. I didnt find it gloomy really, it had too much frenetic emotion in it to be a downer.

more like 10 best
Tell me this isn’t doom and gloom:
Sonny: No, I don’t want to be paid, I don’t need to be paid. Look, I’m here with my partner and nine other people, see. And we’re dying, man. You know? You’re going to see our brains on the sidewalk, they’re going to spill our guts out. Now are you going to show that on television? Have all your housewives look at that? Instead of As The World Turns? I mean what do you got for me? I want something for that.
TV Anchorman: Sonny, you could give up?
Sonny: Give up? Right. Have you ever been in prison?
TV Anchorman: No!
Sonny: No! Well let’s talk about something you fucking know about, okay? How much do you make a week? That’s what I want to hear. Are you going to talk to me about that?
I dont know, that bit of dialogue isnt going to sink me into depression or anything.
I actually think Dog Day is really funny for the most part. One scene that always cracks me up is when Sonny is talking to his wife on the phone and she’s just bitching to high heaven and he just loses it and hangs up on her and you can see hes just completely frazzled. Its hysterical.
we had that movie on VHS when I was a kid. It was one of the only tapes that we had, and as a child it just didn’t set well with me. I guess that’s why I don’t like it. We also had First Blood…which is one of my favorites…
Rambo: Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don’t turn it off! It wasn’t my war! You asked me, I didn’t ask you! And I did what I had to do to win! But somebody wouldn’t let us win! And I come back to the world and I see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting. Calling me baby killer and all kinds of vile crap! Who are they to protest me? Who are they? Unless they’ve been me and been there and know what the hell they’re yelling about!
Trautman: It was a bad time for everyone, Rambo. It’s all in the past now.
or this:
Trautman: You don’t seem to want to accept the fact you’re dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who’s the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who’s been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In Vietnam his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well Rambo was the best.
I don’t care what any body else thinks, First Blood was first rate cinema…period.
the worst movie ive seen is house party (not the dave chapelle one)
Aw man, no love for da House Party? I’ve always liked it. Now when I see it, it brings me back to my hip hop-high school days.
