I’d prefer Mickey over Kurt. But I can live with it. Plus Kurt doesn’t suck.
I can’t wait to see it.

mickey wouldve been better but in his younger days, not now…

on my birthday?!! I’m fucking THERE!!
Planet Terrors trailer segment opened with a beat sounding straight out of John Carpenter’s “The Thing” while Death Proof’s opening beat is identical to Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman”, just altered for the trailer I assume.
I didn’t liked the song under QT halfs of the trailer. Doesn’t added anything to the atmo.
still no word on any bands or songs being used ,but as its such an important part to any movie Im guessing this will be one of the last bits of info to be released
In the script, theres references to: Rockabilly (the opening music), bluesy 70s rock music, and the Stax, Decca and Redbird record labels. So Id expect to hear rockabilly, classic 70s rock, soul/R&B type stuff.
One song I know will be in the film is “Baby Its You” an old Shirelles song, later covered by Smith (the version I listen to most).

Mary Elizabeth Winstead sings it in the film
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know the name of the song playing during the Grindhouse Trailer?
Thanks
Yep its called “Grindhouse Trailer Music”.
And for folks who dont like the song on QTS half, dont get too depressed because QTs film features a bunch of music he loves. I predict the Death Proof soundtrack will be one of his most popular ones.
I love the music from the trailer(s). I’m also looking foward to the DP soundtrack.
I’m sorry, I should probably clarify which trailer. It’s the teaser trailer where they show all the names of the movies QT and RR directed before. Does anybody know the name to that song?
I was under the impression it was all Rodriguez score music. I cant recognize it.

Im guessing that ennio morricone will be in there somewhere
