Man the basement scene when Sonny Red and and his men are murdered is legendary. Pacino and Depp are incredible, there’s just so much realism, it’s better than The Departed.
Its a kickass flick. Thats for sure. I was just thinking to myself yesterday as I was watching TV there should be a MAFIA TV channel that just shows crime/mob films/TV programming. That would rule.
Yeah, everything from the classics to the modern day stuff. But it should just be crime films in general like Dogs, Pulp, Mean Streets, Scarface…all the classics boooooyeeeee!
Id play the 70s Italian mob films too. Those are awesome. Plus Crime related TV shows. I guess it would be a CRIME TV Channel, Not just Mafia. Im talkin Biographies on Mobsters, Crime related TV shows, Crime Movies (US/UK/France/Germany/Japan/China) etc.

so…i usually just watch these forums and don’t post, but this one is particularly interesting. especially since you’re no longer talking about films you’d like to see QT make. However, with ‘No Country For Old Men’ coming out, it occurred to me that QT is the only person who can do a violent western any justice. ‘No Country…’ will probably be good, but not as good as it could be. I welcome you all to read Blood Meridian by Cormack McCarthy. He wrote ‘No Country…’ as well, but not as good as ‘Blood Meridian’. i see your prior suggestions were based on other movies, but hopefully some of you will read this book and come to the same realization, there is no such movie as violent and graphic as this book.

Yeah he could call it “Kill Milla”, where all the old QT characters take turns beating the shit out of her spaghetti western-style. They would then move on to dismembering her body, cutting of limbs, slicing things up. Then the last blow, the deadly shotgun-blast to the face eventually kills her. This would be filmed in real time, in real life and Milla would actually be dead at the end. I love happy endings.
