When I was about 13 I was always intrigued by Uncle’s Pulp Fiction VHS. One day, when I was at a mate’s, I saw Pulp Fiction after remembering it from my Uncle’s (and also having heard things about it since). I was hooked. I bought it, and loved it. Then bought RD, which though not first impressed, is now in my top 5 films. I can’t remember which of QT’s films I ended up seeing and getting after that, but I’ve loved em all (though I initially hated KB, only recently have really started to enjoy it).
I was just re-reading my early posts in here. Funny stuff!
I think after the first time I saw RD, I was annoyed with Mr. Blond, but I changed my mind after I watched it a second time. Now he’s my favorite Dog.

you know what they say about people who read thier own posts…
Stay in the photography/porn topics please, those are for posers. Cmon Kilgore, youre gonna tell me youre a longtime Tarantino fan? You dont know anything about his movies (OK Pulp Fiction maybe but who doesnt know that one?), you hardly ever post in QT or movie related topics unless youre saying some stupid ass comment that has nothing to do with the movies being discussed. Where the hell did you come from? Your moms asshole?

yeah, but I don’t sit in a room all alone and read my own posts…and I know this much about Quentin Tarantino movies:
I like them. They entertain me very much. They are a lot better than 99% of the shit that Hollywood puts out. They are artistic and well filmed. They have excellent dialogue. They are timeless. They are fucking great. Do you know something that I don’t? I think not.
Do I know something you dont? Is that a fuckin joke or what? I re-read one of my posts as I was looking over everyone elses. So wtf is wrong with that? At least its QT related, not about politics & pornos.
You dont sit in your room alone and re-read your own posts? WTF does THAT mean? At least I dont sit alone in my room and talk about pornos with strangers. lol. Now THATs sad.
Why dont you goto a board about shit youre interested in instead of posing as if youre a big Tarantino fan. You seem to like pornos, politics and photography alot, go hang out on one of those boards. I mean, lets get real here.

the problem with guys like you is that you think that it is cool to talk about something that everyone allready knows about…kind of like that Saturday Night Live skit “The Chris Farley Show”. “remember when Samuel Jackson read Ezekiel 25:17…that was cool” - I mean, really…what the fuck is there to gain from a pointless conversation such as that? And what’s with the “where did you come from, your mom’s asshole?” bit? Fuck you. You don’t know shit about me and yet you have the fucking balls to say some shit like that…If I saw you I’d kick your fucking ass like you wouldn’t believe. You are a fucking punch-line to a shitty joke that gets told in a barber shop full of old geezers who can’t get a hard-on anymore. If I were you, I’d quit it - you don’t want to get on my bad side -just ask Ify.
Dude youre a scumbag and you put off a scent so strong it stinks up the whole place. Your bad side? I dont give a shit if Im on your bad side or not. Trust me.
Just move along bitch before you get your ass handed to you.
Pointless
Yeah thats you. Pointless. Talkin out yer ass until someone calls you on it. Im not here to talk smack, but believe me, you deserve a bitchslap.

I’m so glad that I have someone as talented and intelligent as yourself to put me in my place. I don’t know why they say that the internet is a waste of resources…I have found a fucking jackpot here at the QTA. Maybe you could be a therapist or even a motivational speaker. Fuck…you are so fucking great. But seriously…are you naked right now?
big fat naked guy with pimples sitting in front of the monitor sipping on a big-gulp from the convenience store that he reads magazines at. what a sight for sore eyes.
I dont know if you’re a closeted redneck or what but you sure come off like one!
- Im not fat
- I dont have pimples
- Im not a redneck
WTF? Youre the scumbag who thinks hes Luke Duke with the cowboy boots and the manure scented cologne.
Im not into that hick BS.
we are off topic.
Lets talk about our Tarantino history, O.K.?
Pulp Fiction came out when I was a senior in high school. Pear Jam was very popular, so was Soundgarden. When we went to see it in the theater, everyone was like “what the fuck did we just see?” There wasn’t anything that had ever been made that was remotely like it. It was like a bad accident…you couldn’t take your eyes off of it. I remember seeing it at the theater about five or six times - I had never done that before and haven’t since. The other films like Reservoir Dogs and From Dusk Til’ Dawn quickly became cult classics, but never gained the popularity of Pulp. Then QT hit the real big time with Kill Bill. For the first time, a lot of QT fans were saying that KB was better than Pulp…I don’t think so, but I have heard it many times. In my opinion, Quentin Tarantino is the most inventive artist of the 20th century. I would put him on a very short list of controversial and inventive artists which would include the following:
Andy Warhol
Jim Morrison
Jimi Hendrix
Stephen Spielberg - Yes, I just said it.
these people did things that nobody had ever heard of, they shocked people with originality. That is why every painter and photographer idolizes Warhol. That is why every singer worships the works of Morrison. It is why music stores are filled with people who have one goal - to play like Hendrix. And Spielberg - the closet thing to anything that he did was Clash of the Titans - which looks like a fucking joke by today’s standards.
I thought you were 32. I’m 32 and graduated when Dogs was out. Did you stay back or something?

I don’t know, I thought it was right around 1993 - that’s when I graduated. Pulp came out in 94, so I was a freshman in college - what a blur - I smoked a lot of pot back then.
PopeyePete - I was having a bad day yesterday - sorry about the mean comments that I directed at you. I wouldn’t come to this forum if I hated even one of its members - can you forgive me? I can forgive you. Peace.
Yep, no prob dude. Sorry about that whole thing.
I was seven years old when Pulp Fiction came out, I remember watching the Lion King in theatres, to be that young again. . .

I remember watching The Love Bug with Buddy Hackett in the theater. I also remember seeing Fatal Attraction with my parents when I was a kid - that was awkward.
When I went to see Kill Bill, I smoked a big fat doobie in the parking garage. I must have spent fifty bucks on popcorn and drinks at that fucking theater. It was really cool. I remember thinking “wtf” when Buck said “Im Buck, and Im here to fuck”
