nicely done…for a dub…well Italian sounds cool anyway…not that it should replace english in an american movie…but still better than german dubbing…they also tend to make a whole different dialogue…
Well the results are in and it looks like most people hated the cab scene. Personally the only scene I really didn’tlike is the whole entiment sequnce with Butch & his sexy girlfriend.
Maybe is it was just her by herself it could have been better.

I agree - the entire Butch and Fabian sequence could have been cut way the hell down. I was staring at the screen like, "What the fuck? Get on with it already!"
I watched the movie for the first time just an hour ago. Is it wrong that I kind of enjoyed Reservoir Dogs more than Pulp Fiction? Maybe it’s because RD wasn’t as built-up for me as PF was. Also, so many directors and so many movies have ripped off PF, so seeing the one that started it all is going to be something of a letdown. I loved the end, though, with Jules taking zero shit from Pumpkin and Honey Bunny. That scene was tense as all get-out.
I don’t know - I just think Kill Bill had more of an impact on me than PF did.
kill bill was my first QT movie and i was enjoying it the whole way through. but here’s what i like about RD and PF. when i first saw these movies, afterwards i said to myself ‘not bad’ but not exactly the best either. but after some time of letting it sink it i was like wow those are some good movies.

Anyway, I think the Butch and Fabian (or Fabienne, whatever) just needed to be trimmed. It goes nowhere for too long - QT could have halved the time and we would have gotten the message that Butch loves Fabian and that she forgot to take the watch.

The scene that bores me the most is the cab scene. The first time I watched it, I didn’t really think it was boring and all 'cause when you watch it the first few times, you’re trying to absorb everything in, as much as possible. To make sense of it all. But now, it can be summarize in 4 words: “Butch killed the boxer.”
Everyone is talking ass about the cab scene / shower scene etc. etc. Those parts are there to make the whole enterprise more human, it adds depth to a one-liner-filled movie. The cab scene actually has some purpose too, it shows a glimpse of Reb Braddock’s original short movie Curdled, which is recreated later in 1996 into a full-length with the aid of Quentin himself, and that’s a cool movie no-one here has probably seen. A co-worker of mine, who is a Tarantinomaniac, even hasn’t seen it, and that’s a crying shame. You people here are missing out on a great movie just because it didn’t get media attention. I highly recommend it.

I thought only ostriches have brains smaller than their eye. Why can’t we not like certain scenes in the movie? Most of us love the whole film in its entirety but after watching it for the bajillionth time, certain scenes just stuck out like a sore thumb while we would just pop in the DVD to specifically watch the other scenes.
