What do you write with?

What does everyone write with in here? I use Word, I don’t like any of the screenwriting programs. does anyone else use Word?

A pen

I use Appleworks, but not for screenwriting. I don’t write scripts, only sometimes for a school project.

I use word. I use notebook. I use the type writter in my room. I use a pencil.

I use word pad, i get writers cramp with pen and pencil.

I use an old type-writer from the 50’s that my grandfather gave me 2 years ago.

I use Final Draft 6. If I didnt, I would end up with a novel. It keeps me focused on the fact that dialogue moves the story along. I also have trouble with format, FD helps me with this issue. I’m the kinda writer who needs things to flow without difficulty or else I loose the feel of my characters and my scenes. I’m use to writing short stories and novels, so giving dirctions and writing character names is really new to me.

Final Draft 6

professional but simple

It’s the simplicity that draws me. LOL. I wish I could afford the new version, but 200+ is a steep price to pay.

aight i use a pen, then word-and what screenwriting softwares are there?

i use either final draft 6 or sophocles. both are good, although sophocles is just… better

I like to use a fountain pen.

I write long hand with blue and black pens in a loose leaf binder.

If you’re interested in knowing what QT writes with I think I might know the answer. I used Microsoft Word to blow up and brighten that recent pic of QT writing Inglorious Bastards <LINK_TEXT text=“http://img110.exs.cx/img110/626/h8jquen … ingbas.jpg”>http://img110.exs.cx/img110/626/h8jquentinwritingbas.jpg</LINK_TEXT>. Judging from the style of the pen caps of the pens he was using and the boldness of the writing on the notebook, I’m pretty confident that he uses these:

There’s also a pic of Elmore Leonard holding this pen on the back of his Be Cool novel.

first started with word, then changed to final draft

and i sometimes write on my little book i bought in france, with a pen 'course

I write screenplays in word but if I get a random idea troughout the day I write it on anything I can find. I was studying for my history final last night as ran into a few different ideas I has just randomly written down in the middle of my notes.

pen and sophocles

I write my ideas and script layout in notebooks and do the script in word.

Pencil, and whatever scrap of paper happens to be available.

Final Draft 6 thinking I might download 7 soon though. Anyone know what’s new in it?

I use Final Draft 7

Nothing worth the hassel.
