Ok, i’ve posted this before but nobody replied so i’m not sure if anybody else noticed this…when Bill drops his Hanzo sword on the table, right at the same time on the tv Roy Rogers punches somebody and it makes a really cool sound effect. Beatrix also has the same evil look in her eyes as Roy does as they’re both facing their enemies

Yes I noticed that!!!
Also, Ringo, as crazy as I might be, I ain’t fuckin’ deaf nor retarded and what I heard was Twisted Nerve. After you have heard it, please feel free to post something along the lines of “I was wrong, you weren’t just hearing things, Twisted Nerve did actually play during that scene and Ify is the master… of the universe!!”
Calm down, Ify. It’s only a message board
Still haven’t checked it out.
And although I don’t remember Twisted Nerve playing, I can hear a hint of Bang Bang playing in some of the music Rodriguez did.
Something else I noticed. Near the end when Bill tells Bea, "That’s you disguising yourself as a worker “Bee”. That’s you trying to blend in with the hive. But you’re not a worker “Bee” you’re a renegade killer “Bee”. Now I noticed that you could look at as him saying. "That’s you disguiseing yourself as a worker, Bea. That’s you trying to blend in with the hive. But you’re not a worker Bea, you’re a renegade killer, Bea."
I don’t know, kinda funny.

Twisted Nerve plays during when Budd is talking to Elle on the phone. It is only a tiny part of the music, but it is still there nonetheless, you just have to listen out for it!!
Checked it out. I know what you’re talking about. The whistle you can hear in the background? Well, I can see how it can easily be mistaken for Twisted Nerve but I’m positive that it’s just part of that song. It’s following the beat of the song. Not Twised Nerve.
Rodriguez did it like that on purpose I think. Off course it isn’t played on the same ‘note’, but it is still meant to be part of that Twisted Nerve tune. It isn’t really a whistle, but is the same sound of that music that accompanies it. I thought it was quite obvious. Either, it is meant to be part of Twisted Nerve, or it is one BIG coincidence that it plays only once in the film and at a time when Elle Driver is in the scene.
coincidence
Yeah it is a coincidence I think, Rodriguez isn’t that great a musician to be able to do that knowingly ;D
true dat
I don’t think it’s Twisted Nerve at all. Bang Bang is almost an “unofficial” theme to this movie and there are hints of it in many of the small muisc cues of Vol. 2. The only simularity with TN in the scene when Budd calls Elle is the faint whistling. And it’s not even TN.
You’re hearing things Ify.

Dude his music in Kill Bill fuckin’ rocked! He may not be on the same level as John Williams or Ennio Morricone but his music is still great. When I heard that tune that plays during the ‘panning’ of the camera in the Chapel scene in Vol. 2, I thought it really made that scene better. It was sad-sounding, and to see Bill just standing there on the left, knowing he is about to kill the woman he loves, I felt so sorry for him! There are other pieces aswell like that tune that plays right after Budd dies! I hope he composes some music for Inglorious Bastards aswell.
And about the other point, you lot may think that it isn’t Twisted Nerve, but I choose to believe that it is, that way it’s more interesting.
Yeah, I think Rodriguez is awesome in my opinion. Catches the personality of Vol. 2 to a T.
yeah…i think Clarence was being sarcastic
Budd moves his left hand (whilst he is laying on the floor), after he is supposed to have died.
when i read all of this, i realise quentin STEALS alot of things instead of just having them “based upon” something
wich isn’t cool at all
Is the pillow-mistake already mentioned?
The pillow in Bill’s apartement when The Bride takes a seat and get shot?

The other day I was watching Gangs Of New York (just until after the first battle) and I noticed Kill Bill had a few similarities with this.
Quentin is far from original. He takes things from movies he thinks no one has ever seen

ofcourse, you can’t steal the ending of titanic and put it in your movie
