Enough about Con Air…really. Lets talk about other shitty movies like Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Was that the first one or the second one i forget… it doesn’t make any difference… i wouldn’t watch them now… …why don’t you elaborate…
My list is based more along the lines of films made in a completely inept manner and are either terribly made, or agonizing to have to sit through due to boredom. They all suck however, and were made by people who were way too far in over their heads.

Lol, I loved the two films as a kid…haven’t seen them recently but slap how DARE you criticise Bill and Ted!
I actually tend to stay away from crap films- alot of the time I read reviews, or go by heresay and I go and see it. So I only really watch bad films by accident. Last REALLY bad film I watched was…hmm probably the Buffy film. That was pretty bad.
Though there are a lot worse. Some people here count the LOTR and Matrix trilogies as being the worst films they’ve EVER seen. Wtf lol?
Some are obvious, but all are examples of movies that actually pissed me off at how horribly they were executed. Maybe I was too harsh with D.O.A. though.
Moulin Rouge
The Blair Witch Project
Ever After
Batman & Robin
Battlefield Earth
Pistol Opera (perhaps the most deceptive trailer of all time)
Domino
Pocahontas
The Bad Seed
D.O.A. (it’s like trying to listen to salesmen kill eachother)

Blair Witch Project… are you shitting me? That was a great movie!
[/quote]
Are you sure about that? It is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. The only bit I liked was the slightly scary ending. The rest of it was complete shit.
Even if you don’t like it, the movie is valuable due to the amazing artistic direction work done in it. Only for that it’s valuable enough not to be one of the worst movies.
Everything to me in Moulin Rouge gave me a throbing headache. But hey, it’s art. I should have added An American Werewolf in Paris. Absolutely awful but it at least it doesn’t tarnish the reputation of AAWIL.

Amen to that!
Well when I first saw it, I thought it was great movie but you have to admit for a low budget movie it did really well. I liked The Last Broadcast a whole lot more and Blairwitch totally fucking copied that movie and didnt give any credit to them.Check it out sometime.
My attitude as far as Blair Witch goes is a big meh. But hats off to Daniel Myrick and
Eduardo Sánchez for making millions off of it. Thats pretty cool for a low/no budget flick.

But hey that reminds me. I saw The Last Broadcast in HMV the other day, bought a copy- have yet to check it out, but MAN it looks familar lol. Weird coincidence right?
Kind of like Slingblade - then they found out that it wasn’t such a low-budget film afterall. The marketing of a film should be calculated in the production costs - they play a huge role in the success or failure of a film. Sure, there are exceptions (waterworld was a flop), but for the most part, people have to be told what they like.
Yeah definitely. There are a whole bunch of quality films that never reach a commerical audience because a marketing budget hasn’t been worked out. But hey thats why we have cult films right
just watched street fighter after a few years (part of game to movie nite) and i would have to say it is the crappest film i have seen in a long time… it made the original mortal kombat look like much better than it was! ps i dont hate the mortal kombat films, they just needed to like the games with more violence, blood and gore…
