Im not trying to insult anyone. Im just saying, I dont want to edit other peoples films. Learning is fine, if thats what youre doing. Im not saying I have a masterpiece in me. Im only saying if I was going to make something film related Id rather have it be from my own mind at this point.
Editing is pretty easy if youre just taking clips from movies and pasting them together. It doesnt take a genius to do it. The main point behind editing is to create mis en scene in your film so it means something.
All Im saying is that making art should be about something thats personal and meaningful. Am I wrong?

Ive had a sneak peak at the movie. Its fucking awesome! I love it. Its way better than most people here have gave credit to it. I need to go to best buy and reserve a copy today!
It’s October 27th and I haven’t heard anything new. Safe to assume it won’t be released on Nov. 6th. Bestbuy.com has it listed as 1/8/08.
There’s always some form of delay when it comes to Tarantino movies, theatrical or otherwise. I have become accustomed to it by now.

I heard that QT is filming some new parts he needed to add to make the WBA work more smoothly as a single film and the release has been pushed back until X-mas 2009.

I think in the recent Empire interview QT said that the WBA was done and ready to go.

Am I the only one thats pissed off that it isn’t coming out the 6th? That is the day after my birthday and I was going to be at the store at midnight! Well… where exactly in your post is it made clear that you’re joking? Everyone else here is sharing real information with one another. There’s a level of trust going on. So if somebody comes in and says it’s not due for a release until Christmas 2009, how are we supposed to tell that s/he’s joking?
