I love T.S. Eliot and Heart of Darkness by Conrad, but Coppola makes it into a bad pastichefest. That said, I love the (now cliche) whole Wagnerian shooting up the village though.

He was a very old man then he was killed, by a bunch of drunks. And he went on all kinds of weird adventures. He tryed to save MA on the swedish kings order, but failed. He might have went on a killing spree.

It’s true, but I was sceptical of MA as well, and it’s one of my favourites, even if plenty of people didn’t like it.

Hmm dunno what to make of the casting of Chris Pontius, he must be alright for SC to cast him though. Just can’t imagine him being serious for 5 mins. I guess I’ll have to wait and see the film before I have a steady opinion.
For now, I’m not that excited neither, though I’m a huge Sofia COppola fan. But I do trust her and I’m sure she’s done the right choices. I’ll make my opinion when I see the movie. She starts shooting this month.
Ooh I didn’t realise it was so soon, but then again this year is moving wayyy too fast for my liking.
Hope Somewhere is another hit for her. But then again, she’s yet to miss, for me.
