Hey, guys! I’ve found them pics!! :-*
She looks pretty good there actually, she doesn’t look fake and weird.
More pics:
I hate photoshopped pictures. She looks like she just came out of a Pixar feature.

Yea, it’s like girls that wear obscene amounts of makeup. The result may look good (not to me, but to some)…but you have to wonder what they’re hiding under there…
You an say a lot of stuff about the other members of PCD but Nicole and Melody are beautiful and not “fake”, “whore” or whatever we’ve been saying here on this topic. We should just admit sometimes we just say clichés about this group. They’re really not as bad as what everybody want to think here.
For example, just listen to this song, Wait A Minute by the PCD themselves :
http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=QiW8Mb4W5KQ
You may not like this kind of music BUT tell me where you say anything whore-like, fake, and so on.
They’re not ugly by a long-shot. I really wish we’d get out of this culture of putting people into really harsh categories for no reason. Honestly, I get a lot more annoyed with air brushing and photoshoped women, because often they are already beautiful but for some reason they are not considered “perfect” enough, so these things are done.
As far as PCD go, I just can’t stand the music. I don’t pretend to know what the girls are actually like, but I’m just sick of these bands pushing unhealthy submissive sexualities, even if they’re lyrics say otherwise. These girls say they are “empowered” about sex, but everything they do (or are probably told to do by their handlers) involves male sexuality and male pleasure. When I see girls like this I imagine all the old men who basically “own” their careers and are making money off them. It’s a stereotype, but so many of these popular bands are controlled by record labels who often are predominantly men. And that really makes me mad. It’s a male culture.
Ahaha, I know what you mean. But what can you do… Girl power is hard to reach. But if you think about it, guys are more and more interested into more girly stuff : let’s take a simple example, this whole new fashion look with skinny pant for guys, most of them don’t wear skinny pants like earlier 70s punkers, nope, it’s now more some kind of androgyne or feminized type of fashion look. Boys are more into make up, beauty creams, blabla. Such tiny details also shows us that there are progress, which we shouldn’t deny and we sure live in a more fair world as before. Feminist movements, gay movements, and all, sure helped to break this male dominant world. What do you think ?
Back on PCD, I think people are stuck on this two first tracks and now categorized them into this kind silly band. But did you watch the vid I submitted ? There’s nothing like this in it, they’re rather stylish, chic and nothing whore-like. Okay, they do poledance but when Kate Moss does it in The White Stripes video, nobody yells saying she’s a whore, we rather say how sexy and stylish she is. Of course Kate Moss is way much better than PCD, but just for the comparaison. I think there are a whole myth and clichés about this band, I really don’t understand what they did wrong. They’re not the only ones to deal with sexuality, seductive dancing, blabla, but why do we focus on them ? They’re not the worse, really.
Bad news: my farodite doll is leaving PCD !!!
Well, actually, she’s already left. Of course, the rumors about her leaving are very old but I never expected them to be true. On the other hand, she’s been in the group since 1995, she’s 34 now, I don’t think she should stay in a girl band. At least, nobody here will say that she’s a whore now.
P.S. I’m not sure if I’ll keep loving PCD when Foxy isn’t there :-</E>
I didn’t like her, it’s a good thing then that she leaves and indeed she was a bit old to stay in a girl band.
I can’t believe people are still interested in this group as recording artists. I mean I could understand hiring them for your bachelor party but that’s about as far as their talents go. Kinda like how 98 degrees were just glorified wedding singers.

I agree with what you’re saying, but I also don’t like the excessive focus on the external. I don’t have any sort of problem with men wearing make up, but in general I don’t really like more and more people wearing make up. I’d prefer people to accept their own natural beauties. I only started wearing makeup on a daily basis around October, and it’s because of insecurities rather than just enjoying the way it looks, and sadly I think a lot of people are like that. So for me, it fosters insecurity because now I don’t like to go outside without a bit of makeup, and prior to this I hadn’t worn it for almost 7 years.
I have no problem with sexuality, but I find that most of these videos are aimed at pure pleasure for the male viewer rather than pleasure for the female singers themselves. I find most music videos/ads/magazines are similar. To me this video is the same as going to a Hooter’s. It’s so men can sit back and enjoy scantily clad or sexually clad women in a passive manner. Often women have a passive or disinterested look on their faces in these video’s or ads while they pose sexually for the male gaze.
I’ve seen the video before, but I watched it again just to be sure. To me it’s the same thing (although the song isn’t as terrible). I enjoy how she’s saying that she isn’t a ho while she’s wearing a vile looking tight jumper, wiggling her ass while her friends jump on the hood with their rumps in the air. Theres a disconnect between words and actions. To most people this is ho activity. Whether or not she sleeps with people isn’t even overly relevant, her actions would make me conclude she’s a ho, as well as annoying.
Also, I always see things like total equality as a goal. It may never be reachable, but you have to strive for it. I feel that we will never reach it if we begin accept things we see as gender inequality as here to stay. It’s a constant fight, and I really think feminism is seriously slipping. When I was growing up my friends fathers were burying barbies in their backyards because they said they wanted to be like her when they grow up. Now we have Bratz, and the all new Baby Bratz. Barbie looks empowering b comparison. When I worked at a video store until it closed very recently, these videos were one of the most popular for girls. The Bratz look like full blown prostitutes, and now they have baby prostitutes, including thick eye liners and sexy, long hair, not to mention seductive shirts that include places for their breasts. To me this is just a sign of the times; over sexualization of youth and even more obsession with outward appearances.
Anyways, that was WAY to long. Sorry! I can’t speak for Kate Moss because I haven’t seen the video and I don’t like her anyways. I know, I know, sacrilege!
Also, of the photo’s the Eastern posted, the second post, with the two middle ones, I quite like. To me those are sexy, the woman in them looks sexy, and she knows she is sexy and looks empowered. I like photos like that.
Likewise, I remember a Johnny Depp and Kate Moss photo I say a while ago, although I’m having trouble finding it. It’s of Kate lying naked on the bed, with Johnny over her, shirtless. To me this was a tender and intimate photo that I thought was beautiful. These kind of photo’s of a somewhat sexual nature I enjoy. Others I find tacky. It’s just a matter of perspective I suppose.
Kate Moss is the best, she’s so stylish, chic and she’s the one deciding of all the new trendy fashion movements. If she suddently decides to have a specific kind of hair cut, everybody will have the same in the next two months, ahah. But I’m going off-topic, I ain’t talking about the Pussycat Dolls
So, the new PCD album “Double the trouble” hasn’t been released yet but critics are already say it’s gonna be the bomb! The first single will probably be “Psycho” and it will be released in june. Two more songs that are recorded and ready to blow ya mind are called “Bottle pop” and “Away”. Sean Garret says that “Bottle pop” will rock this world!! 8)
Can’t wait for new PCDstuff, I love the dolls and I’m so happy thatthey are “back”!!
Damn! So good to see someone who likes dolls too :-*
