Aren’t there like 7 or 8 Howling sequels? I’ve only seen the first one, and that’s probably the only one I need to see.
the land before time remakes make me sick i saw the original when i was a kid and seeing sequels advertised is like seeing some one dig up the corpse of some one from your childhood ( whom you sorta liked ) and then watching not so nice things being done to the corpse…

The movie actually wasn’t that bad. It was pretty suspenseful throughout; the only thing bad about it is that the ending kind of sucked. It was a pointless film though because Psycho certainly didn’t need a sequel, and the whole Psycho franchise was whack in my opinion.
well i hate it when people say a “franchise” sucks, without seeing all the films, personally i really like “Friday the 13th part 6”, i think it’s very well made film, i might even like it better than the first one, yet i hate “A New Beginning”, films should be judged invidualy, if it’s a sequal that’s worthy of being made or not

Psycho was already perfect as it was, and was more than just an average slasher flick. I’ve actually seen most of the third one and part of 4 on tv, and they weren’t that great. I don’t mind when they make something like Nightmare on Elm Street or Scream into a franchise, because those movies are just horror films that were made to bring in an audience and make an easy buck. But let’s say that The Godfather is a crime drama masterpiece (which it is), and The Godfather 2 turned out to just be a fun action movie that featured criminals in it. That’s not really the case but if it were, than that’s how I’d compare Psycho to Psycho 2. Psycho 2 is a fun movie, but it’s unnecessary. And unnecessary in my dictionary = pointless.

I loved I Know What You Did Last Summer very much, I was a kid, I have seen it LOTS of times and I still have the tape, should watch it again someday. It truly was interesting, I was hooked, even now I remember the characters, my favourite scenes and such. The sequel was a lot worse of course, but, hell, I liked it too, the beginning was great.
It’s kinda sad I’ve lost the ability to enjoy these things without pointing out what’s corny and what’s stupid and all, I wish I could love slashers like I did back then.
