I bought this movie off ebay, popped it in the DVD player, it would not play. I thought it was a region problem so I slid it into the PC. It played a bit then froze up. I tried using CD check to salvage the DVD. CDcheck will keep hammering away at a bad dvd/cd until it gets a good read on all the parts. Well long story short, the DVD was missing part of the movie! A chunk was just not on the disc! ARGHHHH!



So I got Emule and downloaded it. Its a good copy and a good movie. I love it. If you cant find the movie, download it. If you like it, spend 50 bucks if you think they deserve to be charging that much for it.

Why get the 50$ Criterion or a bootleg when at least 9 different official dvd releases exist?

Why get any of them eh? Because you can. Im not buying another copy. My first was not a bootleg, just a defect. I paid once and im not paying again. Besides, the copy I downloaded is very good so I see no reason to buy it again.
