The Cast of Inglourious Basterds

Yeah, he was filming behind the scenes on Cabin Fever and Hostel and was producer and shooting 2nd Unit on Hostel II I believe.

^So pretty much Eli got him in the business? haha

What the hell does Myers mean by “Defies description” haha

Gabe’s also co-writing Trailer Trash with Eli.

Isn’t he cute?

Seems finally Paris Match was wrong according to purepeople’s little investigation and… Marie De Villepin isn’t a part of the IB cast. I ain’t gonna complain about it.

Is Samuel L. Jackson confirmed as the narrator or what?

I don’t think there has been offical confirmation as of yet, but I think that will be something we will find out once post production begins.

Well IMDB has him on the cast list and the recent article that Seb posted in the other thread,

<LINK_TEXT text=“Film.com - Markmonitor … s/25432496”>Film.com - Markmonitor</LINK_TEXT>

includes Sam Jackson as well.

I think that’s pretty much a confirmation right there.

SAMUEL l. JACKSON BITCHES!!!

(if something happens now and he’s not narrator it would really suck coz my hopes are officially up for this)

I personally like the casting for IB. It’s a bold move to round up a bunch of actors like QT did, but anyone can be good if directed to do so. I personally can’t wait for Daniel Bruehl’s and BJ Novak’s characters.

BJ Novak is pretty forgettable as an actor, but I am looking forward to the rest of the cast.

Michael Fassbender is in the contention for Best newcomer in the EMPIRE awards this year. Previous winners include Shia La Beuf, Eva Green and James McAvoy… look what happened to their careers!

Ah! That’s terrific news. I hope he wins and his career explodes and he becomes the next McAvoy. QT’s a genius when it comes to casting. It’s like he can see the future sometimes.

What? James McAvoy has done nothing special lol. Wanted looks horrible and he’s no action star. Atonement was very good but he’s not one of the reasons why. Let’s not go crazy here people.

What happened with Shia LeBouf? He’s acting in summer blockbusters and has done nothing with any real artistry involved. And who’s Eva Green?

Let’s actually hope that Michael Fassbender becomes more than any of those. I hear his role in Hunger is exceptional and I can’t wait to see it. After being in a QT film he’ll rise up fast even though his role is quite minor. I’m thinking the ones who will benefit most from being in this are young Melanie Laurent and Christoph Waltz

Yeah, I quite like James McAvoy. He’s the only reason I liked Atonement. And my best mate thinks he’s gorgeous, so I’ll take her word for it. But, point is, Stiglitz, that he got amazingly huge opportunities after being given that Empire award.

i dont see how the imdb and a mention on my part is any sort of confirmation on anyone. hell sam jackson might not even have been considered by QT for a second… read the news word for word and tell me where it sais its confirmed. i wish i could confirm it, and i’d tell you if i had…

on a nother note

Noémi Besedes - IMDb

One film credit attached to her name. I don’t think she’ll have a big part in IB, anyway.

Well, to say the truth, I agree with Stiglitz, who gives a shit about those awards? They gave it to Shia Laebouf. What is he doing with it, except working in all those shitty blockbusters? No matter his talent, his choices don’t draw my attention, it seems like he’s acting for money. Anyway if you know a little about Fassbender, you know he’s already a much more interesting actor than the three you mentioned, just look at the way his career is taking. 300, Eden Lake, Hunger, inglourious basterds, and now he’s starring in Marshall’s movie, Centurion. I see a big difference.

Concerning the german chick : «Ich spiele eine deutsche Filmdiva», sagt Noémi Besedes, «keine grosse Rolle, aber für die ganze Geschichte eine Art Schlüsselfigur. I can’t remember any other filmdiva than Bridget in the script. Seb, you are the german here, tell us.

maybe y’all take your damn arguments elsewhere?

that chick seems to play some sort of filmdiva, whoever’s read the script, are there any small roles to that effect, with or without speaking parts? maybe she’s just an extra and wants to feel important

Yeah, I guess she might be an extra who’s attending to the premiere of Nation’s Pride, something along those lines. I don’t remember any other filmdiva than Bridget von hammersmark mentioned in the leaked script.

piece on fassbender

He is apparently a very methodic actor, I like that. I can’t wait to see his take on the role, with his mannerisms and accents. He will own the taverne scene for sure.
