I don’t think that was actually officially confirmed, and, as I said above, we saw a glimpse of Young Shosanna in the teaser and I’m pretty sure that it was Melanie Laurent…

absolutely right. sorry for confirming this that late. i met her on the set (while being an extra myself) and she told me she is an actress looking for a job in berlin (as were many more of the female extras on the set). only when i read this article i realized i had seen her on swiss music tv before, moderating some shows. of course the newspaper/her agengy didn’t bother to make a rather big story out of this movie appearance. in the end she was just an extra, like me. but a nice girl nevertheless.
