what went wrong with that scene where mike kills the first group of girls ? coz he does kill them, all the corpses are at the ground and the black girls leg is ripped of xD is that scene gonna make it into the european cut??

the first time i saw the film, i really didn’t like it but the more i see it, the more i like it. still, qt pushed his use of B&W/color switch to the max with KB and DP, i hope, we won’t have any in IB or the next ones…
yeah, now I’m sure of it, the b/w scene is my second favourite scene in the whole movie. I especially love the shot of Russel standing/walking and the traffic on the background. No music or much sounds except the noise of the traffic. I love that moment (and this ain’t the first time I fall in love with such scene. There’s a scene with similiar sound design in High School Co-ed, and that was my favourite scene in the film. See pic).

That’s the weirdest thing I’ve heard today. High School Co-ed (the first Angel Guts film) is one of the very few Sone films available on dvd. What films have you seen and where?
i saw angel guts red classroom in a festival in paris (it was a takashi ishii night) and i saw hellish love
Oh, cool. Red Classroom is my favourite in the series (of the first 5 films) but they’re all great except part 4 which is only good.
Hellish Love is good too, nothing too special in the genre but really needs a remastered dvd. The only edition available, the UK dvd by Pagan, doesn’t do the film justice.

[/quote] The lapdance was included in the movie, but after a little while the screen gets screwed up and we skip to the next scene. The black and white scene is in the movie, but I can’t recall stuntman Mike jumping through the billboard. A cool thing there is that you see him leaving the parking lot with his car, and some time later he’s back at the parking lot, and Abernathy notices it. A really cool moment I think. And the third scene with the photos is also included. For the rest I wouldn’t know, because I only saw the extended cut. But if there are any more questions I’d be more than happy to answer them.
The black and white scene seemed like it was a deleted scene from the film, that you’d normally get on a DVD as an extra. I know it was deleted in the original cut, but that was for a different reason. When it played, the b+w scene semed very slow. There wasn’t a lot happening. The camera stayed on Abernathy for quite a while. Also, it seemed strange when Lee was in the front seat listening to her ipod, then Abernathy says she wants a smoke, so goes outside in front of the car and then all of a sudden you see Lee getting a can of drink. At the time it seemed that there wasn’t enough time for her to get out of the car to get to that point. Maybe there was a jump cut. But, I loved the b+w sequence and how we see Stuntman Mike return after we thought he had left.

The longer cut is a very much better movie. Now I actually think its a very good movie. Before it was to jumbled together and I didnt like that.
I really like the B&W scene in the parking lot. Its freaky! It has this weird aura to it. He looks like hes gonna lick her feet but he licks his finger instead and rubs her toes. QT definitely is showing his weird fetish for feet through Mike in that scene.
I also think its showing that Mike is beginning to let his sick desires get the best of him. Hes losing control of his urges at that point.
I started laughing when he yells “WHERE ARE MY KEYS?!! OH THERE THEY ARE!!” Its fucked up.
I actually dont care for the B and W scene. It seems like QT threw it in for no reason IMO. No deep meaning, no artsy fartsy reason… its just there and its annoying.
