Tarantino to adapt Grand Theft Auto?

Who do you suppose got fired for hiring Vanilla Ice to sing the Ninja Rap?
Look, there’s so much left for QT to do, the video game movie is not what I need.
True dat, i want some original QT stuff, maybe another smaller movie like Dogs?

lol

THATS truly the last thing we need. We already have Dogs, and even though it had a larger cast, Pulp Fiction. I’d sooner see Vega Bros come out of the bullshit box than see another low budget gangster flick.

A small movie does not necessarily have to be gangster. A giallo would do just fine.

hey give me some good movies in that genre

giallo I mean

list some

Dario Argento and Mario Bava.

Go to the IMDB and look up their films.

You’ll love em.

Yep, Bava and Argento are the fucking giallo masters.

Here’s another link to some good

giallos:

I don’t have a problem with a low budget flick. However, the quote I was responding to said a low budget movie LIKE Reservoir Dogs. I’d be fine with a giallo or something else. However, if QT is going to do another gangster flick, I hope he at least makes it really ambitious and over the top.

There’s only one way for QT to make a really good gangster movie now. He’s gotta set it in the 1920’s, Prohibition and immigration era. That’d be so cool. While we’re on the retro train, a QT spy movie, a la The Maltese Falcon, would kick mouy mouy asso.

I didnt mean gangster movie, which Dogs really isnt, i ment smithing like that giallo that he was tlking about in Fangoria. :’( :’( :’(

My mistake.
Video games into films always goes bad. I used to love Resident evil, it was my favourite video game, but then came the film…i nearly cried.
Yeah but GTA isn’t an ordinary fantasy video game like Mortal Kombat,Mario etc…

If QT makes a movie from this game it’ll definitly be the bomb.Hot persuit action, phat dialogues etc…And ofcourse a great cast.

Who would you pick to play the leading role of Tommy Vircetti??

I would choose Eric Close.

I always thought he looked kinda like the Tommy figure in GTA III.

Or otherwise Johnny Depp,I would definitly like to see Johnny in a QT flick.

By the way…wich cast would you want if this movie ever breaks through???

This is what I want to see:

Eric Close or Johhny Depp : - Tommy Vircetti

Cheech Marin :- Diaz (from Vice City)

Edward Bunker:- Avery (the cowboy) who could have the same character as his role in reservoir Dogs “Mr.Blue” but nobody knows about it…it’s a litle movie detail…

Harvey keitel :-Joey leone

Danny Aiello:- Salvatore Leone

Paget Brewster :-Maria

Danny Trejo: -Miguel

Quentin Tarantino :-Steve Scott (the porno king in Vice City LOL) or Ken Rosenberg.

Irene Molloy :-Mercedes

Michael Madsen :-Toni

Samuell L.Jackson :-8-Ball

Fairuza Balk :-Misty

Lucy Liu :-Asuka

Ernest M.Garcia :-Gonzales

Will Smith :-Lance

Jeff Bridges :-Mitch Baker

it would be pretty hard for mr. blue to be in this because…

edward bunker is dead as dillinger

sorry buddy

Really? I didn’t hear anything about Eddie Bunker dying…and according to IMDB.com (though they aren’t always accurate), he’s still alive.

he means the character mr blue

but bunker is pretty old

Yeah, Bunker’s too old to take on any movie role for Christ’s sake. He hasn’t even appeared in a cameo in four years.

Hmmmm good point…anyways…it would’ve been cool.

And it is a pretty nice cast don’t you think??

Actually he could still play that role,Avery is pretty old himself and it wouldn’t be a big role…

i thought the special features on the RD 10th anniversary said he was dead…

i’m probaby just nuts, don’t mind me…

“Is he dead”

“Um, yeah, pretty much”
