This is obviously one of my favorite movies of all time. I love tarantinos stuff but this is just a great movie and i saw no topic was on here about it so i started one. Am i the only person who thaught that Tony should not have died at the end?

Yes.
if he wouldn’f have died the movie would not be as great. him dying was the last thing I expected to happen. Its ironic and great the story is…he starts off as nothing…rises to the top…and just like that…one simple fuck up…he’s back where he started…nothing.
The first time I watched this movie I though it was pretty bad ass. But then I watched it again and it just made me laugh. Not because it’s bad, which it isn’t, but because Tony Kills so many people. It’s so funny how violent this movie is.
The Chainsaw scene you couldn’t even see!!!. But the end and the scene where he shoots that bastard in the head in the car was pretty brutal. I liked this movie, not as much as other people have but it was still pretty good.
I liked the fact that Tony dies at the end. It makes the movie more like a Shakesperean play along the lines of MacBeth or something. His death makes the production far more dramatic and…classy, if such a thing is possible.

No I wish that too.It could have had a ending like Raging Bull.
I am not glad Tony dies at the end but it makes for a great movie. It just shows the rise and fall of a drug lord. What made him rich, i think, eventually killed him. Yeh Sosa put a hit on him, but the coke fucked him up. And his death brought a new dealer to the platform. So unfortunately, Tony had to die. And what a great death scene it was.
“Scarface”'s ending is the best part in the whole movie. So yeah, I’m very glad he died.
I knew that Tony was going to die. Drug dealers that high up never live, and just to kind of make it a positive movie, they killed him off, to show what happens when you sell drugs.

But he kicked so much ass by the end…The only other things where that ammount people die by the hand of one man are Rambo and Commando. But First blood kicks ass too. Come to think of it, First Blood is pretty funny. And Scarface is pretty funny. How do i keep noticing these things.
Him dying at the end now seems like a better thing because most gangsters in the end always die but i dont like it that he got shot in the back. and starkey u keep noticing those things because ur a crazy motherfucker

A totally hilarous bloody shootout with the drug trafficer from HELL. FOCK YO MAIN!!
The gun fight was amazing best shootout i ever saw but i think he shouldnt have been shot in the back it was a cheap move by that bastard of a hitman

DePalma had to send this film through the MPAA 3 times before he got an R rating. Pretty crazy.
A DePalma cult crime classic that has a total feel of a modern day spaghetti western, dripping with black humor. One of the first films I saw as a kid that turned me into the film geek I am today.

Whoever says that Scarface has a bad ending is smoking some fine crack. It has the best cinematic ending of all time. Just beautiful.
