Rose McGowan: Stupid fucking tool

I absolutely don’t understand the reason why she said this. If she was trying to be funny, she fell flat on her face, which I imagine will do even more damage to it.

What an idiot woman. Is her need for attention that great?

I don’t care in the least bit who actors are in real life and what they do. Just like I don’t care with normal people - like I don’t watch reality shows.

Too bad this may have a negative effect on her career, like in the Mickey Rourke case they mentioned. People are too stupid to seperate actors and the characters they portray.

The biggest asshole in the world can stil be a fine actor or be suitable for a part.

Mickey Rourke is a good actor though, his career did come back.

Rose hasn’t got the talent to back up her lack of intelligence.

I don’t know why the idea of Rose McG fucking up like this makes me smile so. ;D

I don’t get the controversy. If I was Irish and in Ireland I would also side with the Irish who are against British rule in Ireland.

You’d join a terrorist group?

I’d join any group still willing to fight for the right to control their own land.

The IRA is a multi-faceted organization with many splinter groups that aren’t even considered an actual entity of the IRA, they just claim the name due to a lack of historical knowledge. Not everything that’s done in the IRA’s name is actually done by the real IRA.

Terrorism is such a relative term anyway. Different groups can commit the same acts and sometimes it’s called Terrorism, sometimes it’s called Liberation, sometimes it’s called Spreading Democracy, sometimes it’s called Delivering Justice. i believe the Colonials were called Terrorists in certain circles during the Revolutionary War. They were also called Freedom Fighters in other circles.

The IRA is a multi-faceted organization that happens to have been responsible for the murders of up to 2000 people…

Sorry, you were saying… terrorism is such a relative term.

I understand a need to side with a group, when it comes to standing up to their rights etc, but at what expense?

exactly. but where is that line to draw, and who’s to call something right or wrong… I don’t see Rose’s remarks as anything newsworthy… I don’t get the commotion

Maybe because you haven’t been directly affected by IRA related situations. I have my reasons for opposing her remarks.

because I haven’t been directly affected? what does that have to do with saying that if you grew up in Belfast during that time you might most likely have been in the IRA? it’s like saying hey if I grew up in Jerusalem I’d most likely be pro- or contra Israel… it’s… logical

I don’t agree with a lot of things, but I’m not going to join a terrorist movement because of that.

She’s a public figure, however she said it, she knows the media will twist it, but because she’s so fucking stupid, she didn’t register the notion that it would come back and bite her in the arse. Which it has done. The headline reads “Rose McGowan would join IRA!” Of course there is going to be ‘commotion’. You’re not an idiot.

well the one man’s terrorist group is another’s resistance movement… yadayada

Rosie Mac is Craaaaazy!

I think actors should just shut the fuck up when it comes to politics. It’s not their area of expertise and there’s no logical reason whatosever why they should mouth their political opinion in public.

unless they are George Clooney xD

Can you feel the hate?!

no.

if you make a film like that: Good Night, and Good Luck - Wikipedia.

you have every permission in my book to talk about politics, actor or no actor

Good Night, And Good Luck - YouTube

George is cool and that whole thing he did about Darfur was great.

But as far as actors and US politics go, most of them should just shut their pieholes. It doesnt do any good, esp for them. It puts them in a bad light most of the time.

In America, the public opinion seems to be influenced a lot by celebrities and I wonder why that is. Just because somebody is in movies/TV doesn’t suddenly mean they know shit about politics, and even if they do, their opinons shouldn’t be worth more than those of other people.

I hate directors and actors with political agendas/motifs. They are here to entertain, that’s all.
