Popeye Pete's Death Proof script review
Don’t want to admit where you got it from, eh, Pete? heheh

LOL

Don’t tell me you made friends with the Grindhouse forum chick Pete. The world must really be coming to an end…

Both scripts are included in the Grindhouse book that’s being released in less than a month. I’m sure they’re going to get leaked very soon, but just wait for the book. The time is going to fly by.

What else comes with the “Grindhouse Book”?

From Amazon.com:

“Featured are Rodriguez’s and Tarantino’s original screenplays in their entirety, interviews with key cast and crew members, and over 300 photographs and illustrations, including never-before-seen artwork and concept designs. An exhaustive history of exploitation films, complete with full-color reproductions of classic one-sheets from the directors’ private collections, enhances the reader’s appreciation of this tasteless, yet highly entertaining and influential genre.”

:o

Sold!

Cyber lili i need your email address.

Newbie wondering if he can get an email copy --anyone care to do me a favor?

I heard QT makes a cameo appearance in his own film.

Yeah he plays Warren the bartender. Really cool character too.
I can’t find the script for “Death Proof”, it must be top secret. Guess the only way to get it is to hack into QTs hardrive, but then again his pdf. file is probably encrypted. So any hackers out there, “Death Proof” script wanted by Biohazard.

It seems that you have new career opportunities now that both Siskel and Ebert are dead.

I sent the script to Pete to get his review as a genuine fan of exploitation films. Little did I know that so many of you would come crawling out of the wood work to be his best friend to get your grubby little hands on it. That’s not cool, and it looks desperate. You only have until April to see the movie and then you get to see the script in live action form

that is a bit of an arrogant statement, and i think you could have anticipated the echo to his review…

anyways…

i love the picture of Portier on the couch… it#s awesome

I think everyone should just forget about the script BS and just wait to see the film. You wont regret it. You’ll see the film fresh and enjoy it alot more that way anyways. If you want to know a few details I can drop a few for ya.

Where would you rank Death Proof among his other work? Although it’s just the script but I’d still like to know.

Please, let’s not start that shit again…

This script thing is becoming really irritating… >:(

Oh, that`s an amazing argumentation. If I had watched the films he watched it would legitimize ME to own the Script, right? Oo

I’m moderating two big communities too. You know, Communities are ale about the “US-Felling”. It’s not about “ME the great Admin having this and that and try to control anyone over that”. If you want to produce yourself start wirting a book or shoot a film, but don’t get on the nerves of fan forums.

I hope this statement isn’t too blaming because of my english. It’s just my view on these things.

Well, after thinking about it, its QT writing as a chick. Theres guy characters in it of course, but the majority of it is chick conversations. But they’re fun.

Its tough to know how to rank it because I havent read QT writing young chick dialogue in such an extensive way. I’d have to rank it as his best in that area. Overall as an original story Id say its on the Kill Bill/FDTD level.

uhhh…yeah, so anyways…

That sounds great. I love how QT takes a new direction in every one of his films. I think the “chicky” dialouge will be great. Can’t wait to hear the gossip!
