Hello people, i’m from spain and this is the first time that i enter to this forum.
somewhere in the net i’ve read that the suitcase that jules and vincent carry could be the one that Mr Pink steals in Reservoir Dogs, with the diamonds, that later coul sell to Marcelus and Brett steals it from him. Is it posible? i think that it is coherent.
No, thats bullshit. Cause Mr. Pink is carrying a bag, like the one you put your sport clothes in and Vince and Jules have got a suitcase. I don’t think there’s a relation with “Reservoir Dogs” in “Pulp Fiction” like this. But there are two other relations: First, the full name of Jimmy in “Pulp Fiction”, played by Quentin Tarantino, is Jimmy Dimmick. Just like Larry Dimmick, Mr. White (Harvey Keitel) in “Reservoir Dogs”. And then there are Vincent Vega (John Travolta) in “Pulp Fiction” and Vic Vega (Michael Madsen) as Mr. Blonde in “Reservoir Dogs”. The two are brothers.
shouldn’t he recognise the wolf than

Hehe, good point
I think the diamond theory is correct, but that’s my opinion.
What is in the suitcase is whatever you want it to be
It’s Marselus’s soul ;D
I also read that was Marcellus soul, but that sounds stupid and unreal
Gold
I also heard there’s another topic open about this.

Nazi gold what was stolen in Kelly’s heros. :-*
I’m guessing there’s probably 2 topics about this somewhere.
In reservoir dogs there is a reference to a ‘marcellus’ isnt there?
In reservoir dogs there is a reference to a ‘marcellus’ isnt there?
in which part is the reference?
i cant remember exactly so you’ll hafta watch it but i believe the boss (i have a terrible memory, esp. of names excuse it) gets a message from someone saying that marcellus is dead?
anyway it IS in there i just think that quinton liked the name as a gangster boss rather than an actual link
I remember a Marcellus being spoken of in the scene where Mr Blonde is in Joe’s office with Nice Guy Eddie, correct me if i’m wrong
yeh the whole name “marcellus wallis” and i believe someone is telling him he is dead?
maybe not tho
they mention a marcellus, but not wallace, they say other surname, and its in mr white scene in joe’s office
You’ve kind of gone off the point. There is no link between the two films. As for whats in the suitcase, what is actually in it doesnt matter. Tarantino doesnt let us know to add another element of intrigue to an already great film.

Yeah, and it would be impossible to switch the valuable contents from an easy to open bag to a more secure locked case wouldn’t it? :

Hey man, don’t talk this way to me! Is this point clear? So, why is there this fuckin plaster on Marsellus’ neck in “Pulp Fiction”? Ha, just a gag or what? I know that Ving Rhames had a terrible scar, but now it makes fuckin sense. Its Marsellus Wallace’ soul, dot.
