a lot of really talented people do really well before the mainstream catches on - then they get hooked on the fame and start pandering to the mainstream - It is kind of like Orwell’s Animal Farm - all of the animals swore that they would never become like the farmer - oink, oink…
QT has already won an Oscar/Golden Palm and about a hundred other awards. Hes a bonafide superstar in film and look at how he treated Seb when he met him? QT is just one cool dude.

I think QT has enjoyed all the success he will ever have. If he hasn’t gone mainstream by now, he will never do.

Haha, it’s brilliant how the people on set will and can have a lot of fun. But you have to come in prepared. You have to know your stuff, otherwise QT will murder you. I love that. He won’t tolerate slackness. I guess you have to be like that if you want something special at the end. I’m thinkin gof that clip now that wa sreleased quite a while ago where one of the girls in Death Proof didn’t say the line properly or something and QT made fun of her in front of everybody. Haha, it’s the only way you’ll learn I guess.

Yeah the same here. I would really miss it! I go here on the forum several times each day and it hasn’t been the same after it was gone for a while! Its good to be back!
The only thing I am dissapointed about with GH is the damn box office. I dont usually care about that stuff but I was convinced it would be #1 or at least in the top 3. I dont think the Easter weekend was the right time to open it either.
Yes I know, I was also very dissapointed. The Weinsteins are re-releasing it though as two separate films

I have been telling all my friends to see Grindhouse.
But after reading this, it does seem strange that the movie premiered in only one of the theaters in a 13 movie theater and only ran 4 times during the whole day. I was suspicious. usually, they premiere movies in 2 theaters, especially ones with that much hype.
I don’t know what went wrong. I had a great time. was it too specialized?? not made for the masses? I don’t know. I can’t see anyone NOT enjoying this film. is there such a thing as BAD advertising???
I love this movie and that’s all that counts. looking forwards to the DVD’s.
