New fangoria "kill bill" interview

Awesome. Loved the one with Quentin holding the head. But what do you mean a bunch? all i see is the cover, a closeup of the top left corner, and the one i described above. Am i missing something.

Good stuff Joe

Those are some excellent shots!!

I love the one with the guy sliced in two. The FX make-up crew did a good job. I was reading that around 450 gallons of blood were used for the entire film, most of it in the “House of Blue Leaves” scene!

As Jules would say: "This is some fucked-up repugnant shit!"

Now, to top off those lovely pics… where’s the article?

i will upload and post the fangoria article today, with a few other goodies

AWRIGHT!!

From the article:

"…when Uma flies into Japan, I wanted to do it Godzilla style - models, all models. Model airplane, get the crazy orange backdrop, model of Tokyo… So we went to Toho and rented their Tokyo set that they used in the last Godzilla movie. And they said, “Well, you know, they way we do it now is we use a lot of CGI,” and I said, “No, no, no. No CGI. I want models and strings. I wanna do it the way that [director] Ishiro Honda did it, old-school.” So in Kill Bill you’ll see that crane that you always see silhouetted against the skyline of Tokyo Bay."

I never payed much attention to this when i read it the first time. But when i watched the teaser again for the 100 thousandth time i finally realised what the hell that line coming out of the plane was…

Oh and btw, that’s a pretty fuckin’ good model of Tokyo…

I bought the magazine today ($10 !!!) I was going to scan it but then saw you guys already did. I think that’s by far the best interview on Kill Bill yet. Love the Bride swinging down with the sword and cutting off the crazy 88 guys head.

I will publish a transcript of the article today, along with another article. Thanks to BlazeAlpha and Toothpick

I just finished reading the magazine scans posted on the site, and what with the Large version of the trailer available on apple.com, I can officially say that I am officially hyped. Being a fan of Quentin Tarantino, Samurai films, Sonny Chiba and HKCinema, October 10th seems so far away.

ONLY 3 WEEKS![/quote]

I know. But that’s 21 days; over half a month. Hehe, sorry to sound so depressing. Anyways, when it comes to movies I really want to see, patience is not one of my greater virtues.
