Can someone send the transcript of this article to Seb or scan the article for him so we can read it? It sounds like one of the best interviews about Kill Bill yet. Thanks in advance.
Tarantino is wrong about the MPAA. Filmmakers have every right to criticize the system that allows them to take their scissors to an artistâs work.
I just got the mag, I had to slap down 10 bucks for the fuckinâ thing! Oh well, some kick ass pics, and new info. Now you can really tell that Miramax is publicising this movie right, take it to the fans! Normal people probably wont dig this movie, but I guess Miramax is pretty smart, and they know they can get #1 at the box office if genre fans know itâs coming, and how much itâll kick ass! And us QT fans are a fucking army, that if he makes 10 bad filcks in a row (Never), weâll be front in line to see his next one, first show, first day. I am so happy that their not taking the obvious route, and marketing this as a shitty Matrix thing, like they do with every so called kung fu movie now, but normal people will probably think that itâs just that, a Matrix rip off.

Are you saying Fangoria Magazine is 10 fuckin bucks? Its a magazine!!! WTF?! Usually books cost 10 bucks a piece.
Yup. $9.00. I guess itâs worth it though.
Man this is so crazy. Iâm gonna be experiening my FIRST Tarantino film in theatres. Oh my God, I gotta do somethingâŚ
Some people are dressing up like Crazy 88s, maybe Iâll just put on a Cowboy hat and call myself, "Bud"
But shit, I hope NOTHING gets cut out, this could be like the goriest movie of the last 30 years.
10 bucks? Yikes!
I used to be a pretty big collector of FANGO back in the late 80âs, prices has definetly risen as years go by. But this could be a double issue since its got "Extra Bloody pages"
By the way, FANGO used pull an idotic move by placing a movie poster behind the front cover of the magazine. So if you go through my magazine collection, youâll find plenty of fango mags missing their covers (Of course, the word âCollectorâs itemâ had no meaning for a 12-year old kid at the time) But Iâm damn sure certain that NOTHINâs gonna happen to that front cover when I get my hands on it! Iâm gonna try to see if I can find a copy today.

You know what, come to think of it, this is my first Tarantino movie in the theatre, too. Hmm. I am one young motherfucker.
TARANTINO: Itâs going to be challenging, but not a challenge. See, I have a really great relationship with the MPAA. Iâve always worked really well with them and theyâve worked well with me. Iâve never understood directors like Wes Craven or Brian De Palma who are like, âFck you, assholes, you guys are fcking Nazis. Screw you!â Well, what the f*ck ĂâĂ do you think their response is gonna be when you treat them like that? And when you bitch about them to the press all the time, how the hell do you think youâre gonna get what you want? I have always been very understanding of [the MPAA] as far as, they have a tough job to do and they could do it a lot worse than they do. Everyone bitches at them when theyâre wrong, but no one ever gives them credit when theyâre right. I donât see the horror fans applauding them when they give Cabin Fever an R. âHey! Good job, MPAA!â I donât see FANGORIA applauding them when they give From Dusk Till Dawn an R. âGreen blood and vampires, itâs funny, we get it.â ĂâĂ
See, theyâve got a line to walk; theyâve got to both represent, more or less, the parents of America, whose kid might unsuspectingly see a movie, but they also, even though they donât say it, they know they have a responsibility to filmmakers and to the art from. They donât say that they do, but they do. When I work with them, they understand. Some filmmakers bitch because they donât have a set of rules and they change it for each movie. But thatâs what you want! You want it to be flowing. You donât want a set of rules, you want them judging each film as itâs own case. But also, between the MPAA and every jerkwater county in America having their won obscenity laws, you want the MPAA!
âŚsome of those fights with the mpaa back in the day made for good press, no?
âŚi bet tarantino has no beef with the mpaa 'cause they gave him no grief; in fact he probably has carte blanche to do whatever he wantsâŚ
Um, actually the MPAA gave Tarantino a lot of grief, I donât know where your head is. Although True Romance wasnât directed by him, the MPAA had to cut out a lot of violence. A lot. Not to mention half of the explicit pussy eating dialogue, which IMO is one of the funniest QT parts ever. Sadly I can only view the whole thing on the second disc in deleted scenes. Also the MPAA gave them a lot of crap about From Dusk Till Dawn, and they had to dumb it down, including putting in green blood. The ear scene in Dogs, also dummed down. Tarantino won the battle over the MPAA in terms of Pulp Fiction because all the violence was either off screen orâŚjust not that violent. So yes, Tarantino has gotten shit from the MPAA, why do you think that part of the Fangoria article exists?
Uh, because you butt tastes like shit. ???
Is anybody gonna transcribe or scan the article for us? It would be greatly appreciated.

How old are you? Holy shit, that has got to be one of the most unintelligent replies I've seen in a long time..
and Toothpick, do you live near a Borders, or a mall? If so, why don't you just buy the mag yourself instead of worrying about it on the internet? I think the huge article and pics is worth the nine bucks.
I donât know about toothpick, but i canât find it anywhere. i looked everywhere when i found out it was out. I would scan it if i could find it, and if i knew how to use my scanner. Or i could just type it up, if i could find it. Can anyone do it?
so, does noone care about these pictures?
I donât care for pictures that donât work ĂâĂ
When i paste the url into my browser i get this message:
