Power of One was just too depressing for me…(his poor chicken…that bit upset me more then the thing with the girlfriend)…but then again i can be a very shallow person at times… ;D

Anyway the other day I was quoting ‘Cowboy Bebop’ (“I so ends another episode of wasting time with faye”) and no one had a clue about CB, let alone CB the movie… very cool and groovy movie 8)

Shit, I modeled my entire life after Spike Spiegel. Cowboy Bebop kicks ass

Isn’t Power of One that movie where that dude makes Morgan Freeman eat shit? Any movie where Morgan Freeman eats shit gets an A in my book.

Lava (2002) Lava (2001) - IMDb

Quoted as being "Laural And Hardy Directed By Scorsese

This is one of the most over looked british film… although there are many others but Lava has something more than most, the mix of gratious violence and comedy although should not be funny you just can not help laughing away as somebody else gets shot, cringing away with a ear slicing scene (not a direct reference) and with a cameo from Leslie Grantham how could you refuse!

Short Review from play.com:

During a blazing hot summer day in West London, two deluded heroes set out on an impossible mission. Smiggly (writer/director Tucker) is one of life’s also rans, while Phillip (Holmes) is a well-meaning shelf stacker in a supermarket. Together they plan to avenge the beating that has left Phillip’s brother Stevie (Iggulden) badly disabled and brain damaged. Encouraged by Stevie’s dad (Bell), they set out on a scheme that sees them encountering a dodgy gun dealer (Grantham), the local drug kingpin, and a bunch of Yardies…

Oh my god, I was ready to post something about the Shallow Grave when I saw the topic. It is one of the most stylish english films, I bought a DVD just three days ago, I had it for three years recorded in a tape and I couldn’t stand the quality.

The film is a perfect example for a DARK humour movie. It was funny although a bit sad and psychological.

Who was Mc Gregor, that guy who looked like Bill Gates?

I saw this movie too, and it’ excellent. I don’t think that it deserves to be unknown !

Yeah, a lot of people don’t know it. For example my friends. I’ll give them the DVD.
