Most overrated movies

Scarface is a good movie, one of my favorites.

Tony: "Why don’t you try to stick your head up your ass, see if it fits."

Hector: “Yes? Ok.”

I would have to say Silence of The Lambs is the most overrated movie ever. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love the scenes with Anthony Hopkins, but Buffalo Bill has to be one of if not the least scary movie of the last twenty years

i don’t see how Silence of the Lambs can be such an overrated movie, i have never heard anyone say that it was really great or anything like that. for some reason, lots of people say that Scarface is an amazing movie

i really don’t know how anyone can say that…:-</E>

it’s because they’re on crack

because it has an amazing storyline and it shows the process from nothing to something better then any movie

Even if you don’t like Scarface, you do have to be at least somewhat entertained by the ass-stomping finale.

yes, someone on crack would agree with that statement.

I think there are many overrated movies. I use to have a ‘Guess who’s gonna to recive the oscar’ meeting with my friends every year and I have to say that I’m hardly ever happy with the Accademy’s choiches.I agree with people who say that Pearl harbour is not a good film, but I did liked the latest 007 film. One of the film i think of when I’m talking about overrated movies is American Beauty: of course,Kevin Spacey’s performance was very good, but I think the film was crap!..

im glad he stopped posting here

I’m sorry it has to be said… Hero, without the breathtaking fight scenes, this film would be shitter than horse shit.

didn’t you give it an 8/10 though?

yea but it has the breath taking fight scenes.

Yes, for the breathtaking fight scenes!! The story wasn’t much good, the dialogue was average, and there was no depth. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon to me was better in terms of everything except the fight scenes.

Pffff, so many, I’ll pick just a few that come to mind:

Titanic (Long as hell, boring and overly dramatic. They managed to take one of the worst and best known tragedies and make it into a cheesy Hollywood lovestory. Defenetely not worth any Oscars)

Pearl Harbor (See Titanic ----> plus the movie sucks beyond ALL recognition!!!)

Pretty Woman (Unfuckin’ believable this piece off horseshit was nominated for best picture…)

Van Helsing (Most overdramatic cheesy Hollywoodbun EVER!)

Moulin Rouge ()

The Piano (It has got so many naked men showing off their dicks in it, they should have named it The Organ)

Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

wahat? i love those, a little to long here and there but wtf?

I hate Lord of the Rings, I don’t understand why everybody loves it.

i agree with that. by no means are they bad movies, but i don’t think they’re as good as everyone says they are.

The last 2 are a bit boring in parts, but I don’t know how anyone can’t love Fellowship. That movie owns all.

Crouching tiger hidden dragon - I just don’t get all the hype and oscars.

Harry Potter - The books kick it’s ass

Resident evil - So shit, who the fuck made the sequel?

James Bond - Why is he still going?

titanic-even though horner paid millions to get those titanic photos, concidering the fact that the titanic movie in 96/97 was even better the titanic makers should be ashamed.
