Thought this was interesting.
HOLLYWOOD - Courtney Love has acquired the rights to Charles Cross’ celebrated biography on her late husband Kurt Cobain, Heavier Than Heaven, and plans to turn it into a movie.
Love is now reportedly in talks with a number of top Hollywood studios with a view to immortalizing the Nirvana front man’s life on the big screen.
In a posting on her fansite, MoonwashedRose.com, Love revealed the film project is “in an embryonic stage,” adding, “(There’s) no script and no director attached.”
The project will be the first official film about the tragic rocker, who committed suicide in 1994, although moviemaker Gus Van Sant cast actor Michael Pitt as a Cobain look-alike in 2005 movie Last Days, which was widely believed to be the director’s unauthorized account of the Nirvana star’s life.
Its kind of funny she’s doing the movie I guess you have to support a child and a drug habit some way right?
She shouldn’t do this movie. Plus Gus Van Sant has already done a great movie on him (well I found it was sometimes boring, BUT it’s worthy enough for Kurt Cubain’s fans). Let’s forget about it, and let’s focus on her own career as a singer, or let’s deal with her problems as a drug addict. It’s more important. Cubain doesn’t need such movie to stay a legend.
get your head in front of the shotgun kurt

Yeah, and everybodies live is exactly the same
The truth is that some people only think about themselves. Literally. They think that everyone else is a fucking droid without feelings, dreams, ambitions, or sorrows of their own. That is called narcisisism - and those who think this way are called sociopaths.
Bullshittttttt
Everyone has their own system of feelings and way of dealing with certain things that come to you in life…
Cobain couldnt handle his life…has nothing to do with narcissism…
I disagree. Kurt Cobain wrote those dreary doom and gloom songs because his big old brain had him believing that he was unique. Unique, as you all know, is Latin for asshole. Cobain was nothing but a junkie who got lucky - and then he got even luckier when he found that shotgun and a couple of 12 gauge shells to boot. :’(
Lucky to make good lyrics and songs? No talent at all?
He was a very special person, who couldnt handle being lonely and misunderstood…he hated fame and just couldnt find a way to deal with everything that came to him in life…
If he really was narcistic he wouldve enjoyed the fame and still live thinking he was the best ever.
Well, we’ll just have to ask the cocksucker when we die!
Dont you found that it funny that there was no finger print on the gun, shells,or even the suicide letter? And isnt it funny he comitted suicide after he asks Courtney Love for a divorce?
polly want a cracker
I think I should get off her first
maybe I should go to Kmart
and buy fucking shotgun too
put it way
down inside
pull the trigger
now Ive died
Once again not funny. Shouldnt we be talking about what happen to Courtney Love, in the 90s she had good music now look at her WTF!
cobain wrote great music, nirvana were very unique and they still are today and they still sell more records than alot of bands taday. But maybe we should be talking about the movie not his demise…

Yeah good point
let them do it if they want, its probably gonna be shite anyway. kurt woulda hated it but maybe he woulda seen the funny side. Let’s face it, there was always going to be a film about kurt cobain, and i thought that Last Days did it the best way it could possibly be done, but there’s been a lot of hostility towards it, much from cobain fans who, i thought, would get it a little bit more… but then again most of todays nirvana fans are little teeny-boppers who like skateboards… its just a shame it ruins it for the rest of us i suppose…
