who cares about what E Bennett Walsh sais? who is this guy anyway? he was a producer on the kill bills, that still doesnt give him ANY authority whatsoever over deciding when and how and what and whatever is going to happen next. i really don’t know, but for all he know he was just some friend that came on board to serve as a spy fo rthe weinsteins on set?
here’s what joblo sais, and i agree with him:
“…And though this all sounds nice and pretty in theory, let’s face it, it ain’t happening. Or at least is a far ways off. Tarantino’s been talking about sequels to KILL BILL since the film’s release but he himself has said he’d like to wait ten or fifteen years before he revisits this franchise. Tarantino’s a talker. It’s what he does. He’s also talked about a Vega Brother’s movie, a World War 2 epic, and a GRINDHOUSE sequel. Until we get a Weinstein Co. press release saying that production’s started on KILL BILL 3, let’s not start jacking each other off just yet.”
source: Kill Bill 3 and 4?
if QT decides to make another one, will it even be called kill bill? I mean bill has already been killed. I heard it might be called kill beatrix. Im pretty sure QT said that.
I love how all of QT’s films have titles made up of 2 words.
In case you’re retarded:
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill
Death Proof
Inglorious Bastards (probably)

actually he does because as producer he raises the funds for the film and is responsible for all the financial aspects of the movie.

No he doesn’t. Sebastian is right. No one but Tarantino owns the title or the characters. It’s been that way since “Reservoir Dogs”. And he’s proud of that fact. If you read his older interviews he even talks about it. That’s why there hasn’t been a sequel to “Pulp Fiction” or anything that Tarantino has written or directed. It’s the same with the supposed “Kill Bill” sequels. The only way they will ever happen is if he endorses them.
I don’t know what to think. I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t see it regardless of whether QT directed it. But I don’t think it’s going to happen.
So The Bride won’t be in it, QT won’t direct it and since Bill is already dead - how could it be called Kill Bill anymore?
Sounds like bs to me.

no if they wanted to make a sequel they could regardless bride being in it or not.and i was just clearly putting out that the “producer” has an input on it getting made.
yeah producers are the people who get films made, ONCE it has been decided that they will be made, get it? the producer can’t just move to project into shooting stage on his own. Mr Walsh probably got a phone call form QT’s agent/lawyer that night or maybe from the weinsteins telling him wtf he just said to the media that night.
YOU KNOW WHAT? all this buzz about kill bill sequels, is just to distract from the grindhouse debacle and make everyone excited for the dvd to come out. THAT is what I think
At this moment in time, I’m not really too interested in any more Kill Bill movies. I mean he made an epic masterpiece, just leave it at that. Like he said, if he is going to touch on it some more, it’ll be in 15 years time. This moment, I’m more interested in Death Proof coming out and his next film which shoud be Inglorious Bastards.
^ I agree. Kill Bill is 100% now that it is! No need to make more, unless it is real far from now!
I’m happy to see Quentin Tarantino making anything.
^ LOL! Very true.

even if it’s a long time from now, there’s no need at all. With Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair coming out, we can see it as he envisioned it. Bill is dead, so kill bill is dead. And besides, QT said that if he was to make another, this is how it would work: sofie inherits bills money, vernita’s daughter and sofie comes together, using bills money to train etc. in preparation of killing the bride, hence “Kill Beatrix” which he said it would most likely be called, and it would be the whole idea that revenge has come full circle and there no longer exists a need for revenge, or justified revenge. Besides, i dont want to see the bride die, and if he does it in 10 years, Uma will be 44 and in 15 years 49. In my opinion, thats too old.
Are they adding scenes in the Whole Bloody Affair?

no one knows, nothing has been explicitly said. All i now is that, from interviews in like 2005 when Kill Bill was suppose to be released as one movie again in theatres. QT said that this is it in its truest form, the way “KILL BILL” was originally envisioned. But no one knows about added scenes or anything. The changes we know off are that the house of blue leaves fight scene is in color and extended, and sophies other arm is cut off. Both of these can me seen on youtube.
I am happy with what we got from it already too. I can’t wait for the Whole Bloody Affair!
Tarantino is going to make me broke in September! LOL!
For a Few Bills More perhaps? I like trilos myself.

Well within reason, of course. You want directors to do new things, to explore their horizons. If he is only going to be making films for another 15 years, I’d much rather he tackle his WWII epic than to do something which is already done.
