Movies will whore the hell out of QT’s name to sell it. Unfair? You decide.
It’s not just you. Those films are dumb, that’s why they rely on Q’s name to sell tickets. Hero was ok, but none of these films are really worth sitting through twice.

Iron Monkey-I loved it and I usually dont love those stupid martial arts movies that use wires but I liked this one pretty well
Hostel-Overall It was a good horror movie

Iron Monkey is excellent as well.
And The Protector? You mean Tom Yum Goong? Or the US cut of Tom Yum Goong which is missing 20 minutes of story-telling footage (which is funny because people were complaining the story was non-existent, and that was before the Weinsteins re-edited the film). Great film in it’s original form at least.

Didn’t they replace some of the original music w/ shitty house music in some scenes, too. Or is that just a rumor, I’ve only seen the original Asian cut.
Yes, Hero is the only one that does not suck. Beautiful movie.

hero is a beautiful movie, never mind the plot
hostel is sick, but a lot more original and credible than the saw films
the protector probably sucks but the fighting kicks ass
