i dunno what everyones bitching about i think this movie will be great and lets face it Tarantino isn’t that bad of an actor you guys have closed minds about it. I know he’s no Robert Deniro but its not like he’s as bad as Mark Hamill…

Tarantino is not so bad, that he should win a razzie, but he is pretty shit at acting. I mean he can’t be ‘cool’ which is ironic. I thought he did a good job in Desperado. But in Destiny Turns On The Radio, the way he delivered his lines was kinda… pathetic. He tried to be cool, but wasn’t. In Pulp Fiction he was ok, but he didn’t convice me that he used to be a gangster. In Reservoir Dogs, he almost spoiled that brilliant opening scene with his constant laughing. He was laughing way too much at all the jokes and funny things possibly to tell the viewer that what the guys are saying is funny, not knowing that we know the dialogue in that scene was near to perfection. And am I right in saying that women who was kidnapped by Seth and Richie (and who is also Butch’s mother in PF) is Tarantino’s acting teacher?? If so, she needs to be shot.
hmm i guess i just dont pay as much attention on him specifically when im watching the movies. I honestly dont think FDTD would have been as good and flavourful if someone else played Richie.
hes not great for sure but hes not as bad as ppl say he is. i dont know what ppl are taking about in RR hes doesnt do that bad of a job, i think. hes never rouend a scene for me thats all. still shitty tho
I just think he’s too aware of himself. He sticks out in a scene and doesn’t blend at all. And his performance in Destiny was actually painful to watch in places. I did like him in FDTD. I think it was his best work yet. If he can do something like that in Hell Ride, but better. Great. He was also fun in Little Nicky. Nice little unobvious cameo. Freaky looking as hell, though.
NOTHING ruins the diner scene in Reservoir Dogs, or even “almost ruins” it. Frankly, I think its one of the best scenes in the movie, and Quentin only contributes to the brilliant dialogue and medley of personalities in the scene.
Well, I don’t think tarantino is that bad an actor. He simply has his own style, and i think he’s cool. i hope he returns in front of the camera for his next film. Btw, that time he was on Alias, his acting was pretty decent.
Har, har. You think it was “NOTHING” that ruined that diner scene? POSSIBLY. You’re right though: Quentin propbably only contributed to the brilliant dialogue. He got most of it from some movie he watched that morning and from the actors themselves.

Larry Bishop sponsors and sometimes teaches at my daughter’s class. It is Expressions Unlimited on Venture Blvd. Mr. Bishop cast some of the movie from that class. He shared some of the screenplay and the ideas about the direction of the film. It will be a great film, I am very excited about seeing it!

In From Dusk Till Dawn Tarantino kicks mortal ass, no one can deny that. Alright, he fucking kicks ass in that. You know it, I know it. We both know it.
Hell ride sounds decent, I hope he gets to co-direct.
quoting their admin:
After a long period of rumor and speculation, Quentin Tarantino’s “Hell Ride” has finally received the green light. According to longtime Tarantino collaborator and leading man Michael Madsen, who is set to star in the movie, Tarantino just recently received the good news. “It’s a motorcycle picture,” Madsen reported, squinting and rasping in his trademark style. The film, which Tarantino will produce, was written and will be directed by actor Larry Bishop. “He was the one in the [strip] club [in ‘Kill Bill 2’] who tells me to take my hat off,” Madsen said. “Hell Ride” will be “reminiscent of the '70s, those motorcycle pictures they made with Joe Namath; the really bad B-movie motorcycle movies,” he continued. “We’re gonna make it like that, but in modern times, with that kind of idea behind it. I think that’s what makes it fun.” The project, a revenge-fueled tale of three “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”-type characters, is slated begin filming soon. …
