Coolest detail

#1

What’s your favorite detail in PF?

Mine is:

when vincent walks around at jack rabbit slims he waves his finger next to his ear…recognizing the people in "the wax museum with a pulse"

whats yours?

#2

the way Vincent drinks his coffee facing away from Jules after Jimmi says, "theres nothing you can say that will make me forget I love my wife, is there?"

as like Vincent is saying, “he gotcha there buddy, your on your own”

#3

I loved the shoes on the walls in Lance’s house, the board games all over his place, and the little lines like “My name is Paul, and this is between y’all.”

#4

I like when Mia says “I’ll be down in two shakes of a lamb’s tail” and right after “tail”, she flicks her tongue out a little bit. It’s just so sexy.

Butch’s moments of thought… like right after he kills Vincent, he just stares at him for a second. And right before he goes to kill Maynard, he stands there in thought for a second. Those have always been memorable little moments for me.

good thread, btw

#5

The look on Vincent’s face after him and Jules shoot down the guy with the hand cannon.

How the music says ‘it’s nice to see you once again’ when Butch & Marcellus see eachother at the intersection.

PULP DOG

#6

When they’re at Jack Rabbits, and Mia says that “you know you’ve found someone special when you can just shut the fuck up for a second.” Vincent replies “Well, I don’t think we’re quite there yet, but don’t worry - we just met.” I love how he sits there smiling to himself, like he’s so proud of his little joke.

great detail man! love that one 2!

Also at Jack Rabbit Slims when Mia orders the 5 dollar shake, Vincent gives her this quick glance as if he’s thinking “Did I fuckin’ hear right?” ;D

#9

In Pulp Fiction when Vincent shoots up his heroin, the way qt showed it was so fuckin cool. That was the first movie where I actually saw someone shoot up. That was the coolest thing that I had ever seen.

No. Fuck no.

I just noticed how when Jules starts his Ezekiel 25:17 speech, you see Vincent in the background from the chest down, and he gets out his gun and holds it while folding his hands, as if to pay respect to Jules…almost as if Jules is a preacher saying a prayer. Also makes it seem like they’ve done this together many times before.

#13

A Funny detail is how Jules and Vincent get burned (Kind of) three times for the gay-looking clothes they got from Jimmie.

One burn from Jimmie and The Wolf

One from Raquel

One from Paul (The bartender)

I’ve seen this movie so many times now it’s failed as crime movie, I laugh at every good line and every little detail now.

that one’s my favorite 2, when jules starts his speech vincent knows they are gonna blow bret away.

So he grabs his gun waiting for jules to end his preach.

#15

I just like how during the whole speech Jules doesn’t take his eyes off Brett, cuz he’s about to kill him, yet Marvin’s in the background scared as shit, like he’s on the back of Jules’s mind. You just know from that scary as hell look on Jules’s face that Marvin’s gonna die if he moves an inch.

#16

Oh, and the Oregon (I think it’s Oregon) license plate next to the door when butch has to save marcellus. He can either leave and go straight to oregon to meet the betters and get his money, or try to save marcellus and maybe never get there.

#17

It was Tennesse

I also like all the chains and bondage shit in the basement of the Pawn Shop.

#18

Speaking of stuff in the pawn shop, if anybody hasn’t watched the dvd trivia track for the movie, do it and watch the part just after Butch punches out the gimp. There’s that sign that says “Killian’s Red” but everything’s burnt out except for “Kill ---- ed”. I would have never ever noticed that if it wasn’t for the trivia thing, it’s so small in the background. But it’s really cool that he put it in there anyway, as a subliminal message. Makes you really wonder whether shit like that affects you as you watch the movie eh?

(yes i realize that’s a little off topic, but it’s interesting as hell, I think!)

Yep. I think I posted that detail in one of the other PF topics too. Also you forgot to mention Zed’s keychain with the “Z” on it. Put the Z together with the rest and you get “Kill Zed”.

One of my fav cool details is the False Mirror in the bathroom at JackRabbit Slims with Mia. If you look you can see theres no possible way a camera can be behind the girls looking in the mirror. So they are actually just looking into the camera instead. Cool!

4:20 on the clock by the staircase in the pawn shop
