LMAO, that shit is hilarious!

My link was a different one though. It consisted of a two minute edited clip from Casino featuring Pesci saying the f word over and over.

Oh yeah i seen that pretty funny!

that is a good one! im finally gonna go with goodfellas because you need to watch it constantly because its that good, casino although a fantastic movie you dont need to watch as much

I like Casino a lot - I like Goodfellas a lot - I can’t make up my mind which is better. I really like the scene in Casino where they catch that guy cheating and open the door with his head.

on another note - I just watched Sharktales with my son - Martin Scorsese plays the “Jewish” businesman who is being squeezed by Robert DeNiro - the mafioso. This movie sucks balls - I can’t believe that Scorsese was a part of it - I mean, imagine if it had won an Oscar for something in Animation? - how fucked up would that have been if Scorsese’s first Oscar had been for a voice-over in a cartoon?

I’ll go with Casino.

Were you waiting for that one, too?

Goodfellas!

Goodfellas takes the first hour of Casino and makes it the whole movie.

Casino slows down after the first hour. Pesci was better in Casino then Goodfellas yet De Niro was better in Goodfellas then Pecsi.

And James Woods also rules.

It’s a tie.

i like casino better i just love the characters the dialogue atmosphere everything about the film.

This is a very tough call indeed. Whenever the subject of these two films come up in discussion with my friends, I find it extremely difficult choosing between the two. They are so similar yet vastly different, if that makes sense.

I think because I watched Goodfellas first and certainly because it was made first, it was THE ORIGINAL. It’s almost like saying without Goodfellas, there’d be no Casino. Scorsese learnt a lot on Goodfellas, and he obviously used all of that to make a better film on a bigger scale in Casino. Whilst Goodfellas gives off a sort of doom and gloom, down and dirty sort of feel, Casino looks more beautiful, more elegant. The cinematography plays a huge part in that. Even the violent scenes aren’t as messy.

This is almost like saying which is better, Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction. You know PF is better, but you have to give props to RD as that paved the way for PF to be made.

I have seen Goodfellas way more than I have Casino and I think that is reason why I’d always watch Casino given a choice between the two. It’s a sort of “done it, seen it, bought the t-shirt”. Goodfellas doesn’t appeal to me as much anymore. However, when I first watched the two, Goodfellas made a bigger impact on me.
