Why did they bleep the name of the bride
out twice?
its just a quirk QT put in. there isnt really a secret to her name, knowing her name isnt going to change anything
Its just something put in to fuck with people…just like the dubbed voices that’ll be present in Volume 2. It was hilarious, people actually started shouting in the theater one of the times I went because they thought that something was wrong with the sound system.

Yeah it has no point… it’s just to fuck with people (i kinda spoiled it when i read the script) but it’s cool because people will think it matters… oh and it’s 3 times kiddo… 
2 times in the verinita scene and one time in the o-ren scene… and btw you can see her name at her airline tickets if you look closely
I think her name being bleeped out is supposed to be a mystery, kinda like the brieface thing, I dunno. And I don’t think the airplane ticket has her real name. Isn’t it just an alias, like how she had an alias for her wedding?

Yeah, whether this was intended or not, I saw it as a tip of the hat to the spaghetti westerns where the hero is just some bad mother who comes to town to shoot all the bad guys. Those great old Clint movies feature him as a nameless gunslinger, a lot of the times.
She’s no longer Nikki, or whatever her real name is. Once they do what they do to her, she is then and forever the Bride.

It’s not a spoiler because the impression imdb.com gives is that you’ll never find out the Bride’s real name, thats the whole point of it being a tribute to the “nameless hero”, though some people claim to have read the script and say they will say her name in part 2, i think that ruins the point of the tribute, doesnt it?
No it doesn’t ruin the tribute, because volume 2 is a completely different movie in that respect. Volume 1, she is a nameless hero, which is the tribute. Volume 2 is a different movie and doesn’t necessarly have to have the same homages and tributes.
Really? When i think of Kill Bill i think of it more like one movie split up in a really good way…kb2 doesnt seem like a sequel, it seems like just a continuation of something we saw half of, what else is different from 2 than 1? It revolves around the same plot, just gets more in depth, like learning more about Vivica A. Fox’s character, so i would think that kb2 would have similar themes and tributes with kb1
Don’t think of it as a sequel. It’s not, really, as it is actually more of a continuation. Much like the Two Towers is a continuation of Fellowship of the Ring, Kill Bill Vol. 2 doens’t tell another story, but it simply continues the story that is already being told.
With respect to the brides name, she is not a nameless hero once the movie completes itself.

I don’t remember it being bleeped out in the O-ren scene…but I believe the subject of her name is mentioned between them…(the whole “Trix are for kids” thing…) I do remember the two times in Vernita’s house, but the O-ren scene…refresh my memory…where was it?
