is Evil Dead a zombie movie? not sure, don’t think so, i dont recall anyone raising from the dead
anyway
gonna have to go with Night Of The Living Dead, it’s simple, it’s cheap, it’s sleazy, it’s great
When they find the Necronomicon and the taped translation of the text, once the tape is played the evil is released, one by one the teens become deadly zombies…remember they have to be disembodied to completely kill them. Then the remaining survivor has to battle “The Evil Dead”
Le Notti del terrore, fuckin love that film, you can smell it, you can smell that film, it’s stinks, i love it, most disturbing scene is where the kids sucks his mothers tit and she enjoys it, it’s an evil film, possesed … love it!

28 days later isn’t a zombie film either, there just people who went crazy because of some virus like in that sci-fi fillm serenity.
Yeah but they’re flesh-eaters and the virus spreads whenever people come in contact with blood. It has many aspects of a zombie movie; It takes them 10-20 seconds to convert into what I beleive are ghouls, which are like a zombie.

good point, but i always thought the official definition of a zombie is a corpse that has been raised from the grave, the living dead
Did they raise from graves in Dawn Of The Dead? How come they were all wearing casual clothes? How come most of the dead people weren’t old? There were even kids. Most of them zombies were teenagers. And how come their innards weren’t rotten?
Zombies are living instincts. Plagued people looking for live human flesh. Once bitten, you become one too.
I’d love to make a film where without any reason a WHOLE BIG CITY (like Washington or Berlin) turns into zombies and walks slowly towards other cities and then everybody gets rid of them. Schools cancelled, everybody goes in streets and bash zombies.
I know that sounds too ironic to be genuine but these really are, in my opinion, the best and worst zombie movies of the ones I’ve seen. And I’m not against remakes. I actually like the Night of the Living Dead remake a lot more than the original.

because if you get bitten by a zombie you become one, a small group of zombies raised and infected everyone, it’s simple

Ah. But then why did the small group raise? They should’ve killed those first zombies, it’s easy to do.
i don’t think it’s ever explained why zombies appear, they just do, and they probably surprised people so much that they were unprepared and there were 1000 new ones every night or so
