Oh yeah, it’ll definitely change once you’ve seen Spaced. Well, how old are you? If you’re like 15, then maybe, but if you’re older, definitely.
oh, i’m wayyy older… and i had flatmates for years, and i always lived in appts filled with old toys, old records, films and film posters… so i don’t know why, but i have the feeling i will relate to spaced 8)

Grey’s Anatomy
House
Entourage
How I Met Your Mother
Big Bang Theory
30Rock
The Office
Batman: The Animated Series
I’m a little surprised to see Spaced on so many lists and not see Buffy. Buffy is of course Simon Pegg’s favourite show as he has said on a few different occasions and I have to agree with him on that. If you guys have written Buffy off as a silly teenage girl’s show, you’re definitely missing out.
My list is probably
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- Spaced
- The Simpsons
- The X-Files
- Arrested Development
- Mad Men
- 30 Rock
- Dexter
- Firefly
- Angel
Yeah, sorry. I got into Buffy and Angel a bit late. They’re on the top of my list now. Below Spaced. And Firefly. I never watched them continuously while they were on the air, which I truly regret in every way imaginable now. I really love them though.

I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few current shows and I left off the ones I just casually watch like Office, Scrubs, Psyche, and Burn Notice. It’s no wonder I don’t watch movies anymore with all the TV on my DVR.
ETA: Not sure how I did it but I somehow managed to forget both 24 and Prison Break. 24 probly lands around sixth on my current list and Prison Break’s somewhere around the same on the ended shows list.
yeah Dex you’re right, you watch waaaay too much TV series haha, and I thought I was a series-geek! But for those I’ve watched I’d say you’ve got good taste in series!
Haven’t you watched Oz? It’s pretty fucked up but one of my fav ended shows…anyway I was gonna write my list but it looks like it’s already there
You can add 30 Rock and replace HIMYM by The Big Bang Theory, and you’ll have my updated list!
I’m also currently watching Flight Of The Conchords and I love it!
In no order:
Dead Like Me
Dirt
Alias
Friends
Fringe
Nip/Tuck
Desperate Houseviwes
Highlander
Entourage
The Simpsons

I don’t know what it is lately but I just can’t sit through movies. On the other hand I recently watched four episodes of Veronica Mars and seven episodes of Party Down in one day. I think I’ve developed an addiction for resolution in forty minutes or less.

Nope. I’m afraid to. My mom did a good job of convincing me that one day I’d end up in prison and I’ve held onto that belief. I pretty much stay away from things that deal with the American prison system in a gritty/ anal rape sort of way.
Seriously though, I’ll get into it sooner or later. HBO shows are just so expensive on DVD and they never play the first season on demand. I’ve never seen an HBO show I didn’t like though, so I know I’m in for something good when I do finally track it down.

I Know!! same thing happenned to me recently, I had a shitload of movies to watch and I couldn’t sit 2 hours to watch it. Though I sat 6 hours or something watching 30 rock episodes…its like a spell or a curse, I don’t know :o
but yeah, Oz is great, especially the first 3 seasons, but I kinda liked how it evolved after that. And I found a pack of the 6 seasons that wasn’t too expensive, I think it was on CDiscount but I don’t know if they ship outside of France.
And anyway…Buying a pack of an entire TV series without watching a single episode first is kinda bold =)
I can’t wait for Entourage to return, 12th of July guys !
My updated top ten:
- The Wire
- Oz
- Homicide
- Monty Python’s Flying Circus
- Blackadder
- Arrested Development
- Spaced
- Brotherhood
- My So-Called Life, Freak & Geeks, Undeclared (Tied)
- Firefly
Runner-ups; Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, Home Movies, Curb Your Enthusiasm, & Party Down.
Right,
