I can love a good TV show just as much as a good movie, and the great thing about them is that you meet your favourite characters again and again. I just recently discovered “The Partridge Family”, and I’m loving every minute of the first season so far. I have stopped watching TV several years ago, and have never seen a single epsiode of all these shows:

Lost

Heroes

Firefly

The Sopranos

Twin Peaks

The Brady Bunch

Seinfeld

Prison Break

House

Six Feet Under

Dexter

Desperate Housewifes

Grey’s Anatomy

My Name is Earl

The OC

Smallville

Based on my favourites list, do you have any TV show recommendations for me? One reason I’m doing this thread is because I need watching material for the whole month of february.

1. X-Files

2. Spaced (UK)

3. Black Books (UK)

4. Firefly

5. Hyperdrive (UK)

6. Star Trek: The Next Generation

7. The Office (UK)

8. My Name is Earl

9. Family Guy

10. Grange Hill (UK)

It’s rather eclectic, but available on DVD in either region 1 or region 2.

If you like David Lynch, than definitely check out Twin Peaks.

If you are into Scorsese’s Goodfellas and Casino than make sure to check out The Soprano’s! It is like getting BIG extensions on the movies  Great dark humour, guest appearances and a great cast. You will love it.

1. [ScrubS]

2. Spaced

3. House

4. 30 Rock

5. The Simpsons

6. Family Guy

7. ER

8. The Shield

9. Supernatural

10. Gilmore Girls (just kidding)

I’m not a big fan of TV to be honest. Any list I make won’t be great, but I guess I’ll try anyways.

Arrested Development

The Simpsons (Of course)

The Office (UK and American versions!)

Planet Earth

South Park (especially the last few seasons)

The Hour

Sometimes Family Guy…sometimes…

I’ve also just started watching Dexter. It’s ok so far, but I’ve only seen about 3 episodes.

I also used to love Queer as Folk, but it’s no longer on :’(

Good choices there! But you should have added Dawson’s Creek. (just kidding)

For real though, good shows you have there.

Well, TV has never been better! That stupid wga strike had to ruin everything though, but it’s okay i’m still catching up on a few storylines from The Shield and ER.

I have a lot of catching up to do on those! But the Sheild is WAY awesome! Yeah!

(SO IS SPACED!)

I like that Zombie (dawn of the dead) poster they have up there, can’t help but to look at it all the time!

Nawwww. You? Zombie guy can’t resist a DotD poster? >:D

  8. 2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of crisps
  9. Fraiser
  10. The Vicar of Dibley

Good to see the X-Files gets a good amount of majority decision. Now I know I’m in good company.

I don’t watch as much TV as I did before, I usaly watch Docu or Late shows like Conan and Jay (Where the hell did Letterman go here in Swed.?)

  1. Seinfeld
  2. The Simpsons
  3. Twin Peaks
  4. Fawlty Towers
  5. Scrubs
  6. My Name is Earl
  7. Spin City (Mike J. Fox ones)
  8. Two & a Half Men
  9. Futurama
  10. Blackadder
  11. The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer
  12. Clerks: The Animated Series

I don’t watch much TV at all. I only watch football highlights and Jonathan Ross (chat show) here in the UK. However, I always need something to watch whilst I eat, at home on the TV and at uni on my laptop and so my list would go like this (in no particular order):

The Simpsons

Friends

Scrubs

The Office (not the US shit)

Extras

Green Wing

Malcolm in the Middle

Two and a Half Men

Everybody Loves Raymond

King of Queens

Father Ted

That 70’s Show

Others I watch ocassionally:

Frasier

My name is Earl

Futurama

Smallville

I have worked my way through most of these and so I’m coming up short on ideas of what to watch next. Saying that, I definitely need to go through all the Soprano’s episodes (seen like 4-5 and they’re brilliant) and lately I’ve been feeling a little guilty about starting to enjoy Family Guy. Oh well, if it amuses me, might as well watch it, ay?!

Some of my old favourites that I may watch at home when nothing else is on:

Only Fools and Horses

Some Mothers Do 'ave 'em

Fawlty Towers

Blackadder

Bottom

The Young Ones

I love Letterman too, and was outraged when the UK channels here stopped showing it. It’s come back again under the channel “Diva TV”, but I can only watch that when I’m at home. Furthermore, I may just watch the ocassional Leno or Conan too (on CNBC Europe) though I like Letterman more.

I also like watching Top Gear, it’s very well made and very funny.

Because I don’t watch TV much (hell, it’s a chore for me to even watch a film a month!!), I haven’t got into all this Heroes, Lost, Prison Break and Firefly business, much to the annoyance of most of my friends.

Oh man i cant believe i forgot Father Ted…

1.Red Dwarf

2.Dr Who

3. Monkey

4.Blackadder

5.Father Ted

6.the young ones

7.the brittas empire

8.Arrested Development
