And the worste movie ever is The Pledge with jack nicholson

I liked The Pledge. It was a very ironic movie, and full of emotion. I love movie where I am totally wrong at what is going to happen at the end. Everyone was fooled at the end, and if you say that you weren’t you are a liar.

The whole car crash thing was cool and the fact that he didnt find the killer was unexpected and unusual. The whole going crazy thing was what ruined the movies ending. But thats my opinion

I can dig that.

To me it made sense. This was the case that he couldn’t escape. He thought about it non stop and before he could officially retire and live a life of peace, he had to find this guy, until he does that he can’t be normal. When he was sure at the end that the guy would take the bait, he knew that retirement was on the way and he could take thee little girl and her mother with him and live happily ever after, but when the guy never showed up, after years of waiting and tracking this guy down, for him to slip away like he did, Jack’s character couldn’t handle it, and it drove him insane. And at the end he is still waiting for the guy to resurface, because he is sure that he is right.

When will you people learn the difference between not liking a film and the film being bad! :’(

I think Silence of the Lambs is excellent, it is the oscar movie it turned out to be, I think Manhunter is good for what it is, and I think Red Dragon is pretty good too.

See I’ve got em all, and I’ve read them all Silence of the Lambs stays pretty true, Hannibal stays true until the very end, but Red Dragon and Manhunter don’t follow as closely.

I think they are each good in areas that the other isn’t, but if you were to somehow mix up the good ideas for both it would make a mediocre movie. When Red Dragon Came out I was hoping they would have the 40 page chapter in the book about Dolerhydes childhood.

But Hannible is a B masterpiece as far as I’m concerned. Love story, thriller, horror, Ray Liotta at the dinner table, Mason Verger, brilliant.

1: Kill Bill Vol. 1- Top movie for me of all time, I could not believe it, I was so amazed, hell I’m even off to see it tommorrow for the third time and I’m a High School student without a job. Too much that I loved to talk about, this was simply the greatest intentional B Movie ever, hence, the greatest movie for me, ever.

2: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly- My dad and my brother are huge John Wayne fans, so Clint Eastwood was my answer to John Wayne back in the days before I had seen any Tarantino films. Cinematography, just like any Leone film is amazing, the scenic backgrounds and such are breath taking, Ennio Morricone’s score is better than even his usual, and the way it all blends together is just astounding to me. If I ever manage to make a a film, I hope it winds up on the same list of someone’s favorite movies, alongside TGTB&TU.

3: Reservoir Dogs- Gotta be one of the most quotable, watchable, greatest films I’ve ever seen. Hell, every time I say Motherfucker, I have to follow it with, “I’m trying to watch the lost boys.” Best directorial debut I’ve seen, as well as some of the best acting I’ve seen, as the guys really didn’t have much character devolopement to work with on the screen.

4: The Wild Bunch- Sam Peckinpah’s got a way of catching my attention mainly through his gunfights, always a highlight of any film I watch. This was a perfect telling to me of how a band of aging gunfighters would be adapting to new technology and constantly changing times. The characters in this movie are fucking amazing throughout it, to me their sacrifice in the end for something they each know will get them killed, always hits me like a sack of bricks when i watch this film.

5: Pulp Fiction- Great dialogue, great cast, great director. All around great movie, with alot of really good high points throughout it. Jules has gotta be my second favorite Tarantino character, right behind Mr. Blonde.

6: Star Wars: A New Hope- The whole trilogy was pretty much my entire life from 1st grade, untril 6th grade((When Episode 1 came out, Fuck George Lucas)), so I had to include this classic on my list.

7: Once Upon A Time In The West- Again, Sergio Leone captivated me with this tale that involves very little actual dialogue, or true action elements, but is on par with TGTB&TU for greatest western of all time, seeing as how I can’t really consider The Wild Bunch a western, but more of a crime drama in my mind.

8: From Dusk Till Dawn- Not really on it’s merit as a film, but more for the sheer entertainment of the flick, and the constant use of some really cool shots during the first half of the film. Besides that, this film finally convinced me that George Clooney really could act.

9: Aliens-Found room for a Bill Paxton movie to make it on the list, I found this film superior to any other part of the franchise. Most likely the best Action/Thriller/Sci-Fi horror films out there. And whenever I play Halo on X-Box, I find myself screaming out-"You want some of this motherfucker! Come and get some! Come and get some motherfucker!"

10: Tremors-Hardest spot on this list to fill out, had to think about it for a minute before I was able to choose this cult classic. Michael Gross as Burt Gummer is one of the most enjoyable characters I’ve seen in a movie, so whenever he goes into survival talk, I can’t help but grin.

Those 10 might not of been the best films I’ve ever seen, but they sure were my favorites.
