Your favorite Kill Bill tune (vol 1 & 2)

-Fistful of Dollars music after the bride takes the rock salt

Especially when the music climaxes and Beatrix and Budd exchange spits. That’s cinema right there. I got goosebumps when I first saw that scene (and still do); that song being played in FoD was my favorite part but I think that V2 actually topped that shit.

L’Arena

Twisted Nerve!

And the “Bang Bang” one

I loved “Bang Bang” it was so relevant and so powerful to be played how and when it was!! That song helps the opening sequence to be IMO one of the best opening sequences in film, ever!

I also liked “Il Tramonto” which played at the introduction of Bill in Volume 2. It was perfect and as i read somewhere, helped to make it the best introductions for a character in a film, ever! (see where I’m going with this, lol) I originally heard this music in The Good the Bad and the Ugly, when “The Bad” is introduced in the film but i gotta say, its use in volume 2 topped that scene.

I also liked the music being played while the Bride is talking to Bill in the chapel and then the camera moves back ultimately presenting the 4 deadly vipers. That was so cool. I noticed that the tune changed right when the Bride puts the vale on her head, the way the music is playing you just know something is going to happen.

I also liked “The Chase” playing while Elle is driving the car, it fitted in exactly with the scene and “Road to Salina” i think its called which plays right after it!

I also never used to buy soundtracks, but Tarantino IMO has the best taste in music to be put in for a scene, from Reservoir Dogs to Volume 2 and now i own like nearly all of his films soundtracks!! I listen to them so often, it just brings a sense of satisfaction!! Tarantino Rules!!!

Now that you mention it, i really think that music is awesome, it’s so hardcore in it’s own way and it makes you really alot more immersed in the whole situation.

Christophe: The Sunny Road To Salina (from Vol.2)

Volume One: Nobody but Me, The Human Beinz

Volume Two: Goodnight Moon, Shivaree

KB1: my nickname says it all… ::slight_smile:

KB2: Il Trio (Morricone), from one of the trailers.

And L’Arena, too.

Everyone knows that Battle Without Honor or Humanity is the greatest song ever

My favorite song piece was right after Bill was talking to Sophie and then that song played, anyways it’s a really good tune.

can anyone tell me the name of the song playing in vol. 1 when the bride first sees the swords in the attic? actually, it seems to be more of a chant than a song, but the sound is still one of my favorites in the film.

that’s

Lily Chou-Chou with Kaihukusuru kizu

My favorites from Vol. 2 would either be the fistful of dollars theme or the beginning or L’Arena with the trumpet playing. When that song came on with the lone trumpet i was like “holy shit this song is so awesome and this is the best scene of the movie!”

For Vol. 1 it would definitely be “don’t let me be misunderstood”

Nancy Sinatra - Bang Bang

Goes so well with the story

the lyrics of this song is the storie of the movie

Imo i think that my 2 favourite songs of KB2 is L’arena and “The Trio” by Ennio Morricone (the song played at the end of the US trailer.

And for KB1 Battle w/o honor or humanity

The Trio by Ennio Morricone wasn’t in Volume 2, it was only in the trailer!!

The new member posted, that it was in the Trailer. And he posted, what he liked in the Trailer.

Sorry I was just telling him, seen as the thread is about Music pieces IN Kill Bill 1 or 2!! Didn't mean to be rude or anything!  :)

Whatever original piece of music played when B kisses Bill and we pan out from the church and see the DiVAS march in and shoot up the place. (vol.2) . I think it’s a Rodriguez piece and goddamn it’s so fuckn crazy kick ass. That and THE CHASE are my favs for sure.

Volume 1:

Death Rides A Horse by Ennio Morricone

Bang Bang by Nancy Sinatra

I’m Blue by The 5678s

Green Hornet by Al Hirt (I think?)

Urami Bushi by Meiko Kaji (which plays in the end credits of Volume 1, but is on the Volume 2 soundtrack)

And as for Volume 2

Tu Mira by Lole Y Manuel

L’Arena by Ennio Morricone

A Satisfied Mind by Johnny Cash

A Silhouette of Doom by Ennio Morricon

Sunny Road to Salina (can’t remember who that’s by).

The Trio by Ennio Morricone (which plays in the Vol 2 trailer…can’t remember if it was in the movie).

Those are just a few of my favorites, but really, I love almost every piece of music associated with both Volumes.
