you cant argue with the statistics, honestly though its pretty much first in first serve (not including Wii) thats why the PS2 had better sales than the Xbox, even tho the Xbox was technically superior also i live in AUS and once the 60GB was discontinued we can only get the 40GB version which sucks but i have a PS2 console still anyway so the backwards compatibility doesn’t really phase me, i only play Guitar hero on it anyway.
The PS3 launch was terrible (being a loyal customer, its weird admitting that lol) waiting 5 more months then even longer in here im still anoyed at sony for that but what can you do, hopefully my girlfriend gets a 360 or Wii best of all worlds then. It’s not that i hate Xbox i just get annoyed at how when it first came out everyone was like “its more powerful than PS2” who gives a shit PS2 games were better exception being shooters nothing really came close to halo back then.

I preordered GTA a while back. Cost me £36 and got 1000 MS points with it as well as a £150 money off voucher booklet, so all in all not a bad deal. Plus, I’m promised it’ll be here on the 29th, so here’s hoping. Even then, I have so much uni work to do (in my final year) so have assignments, a dissertation and exams.
I will also be getting the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack that is released on Tuesday. One map on there - Avalanche, looks fucking immense! Both of my housemates and I are big Halo 3 fans, we play it almost every day for at least a couple of hours on Xbox Live. There’s no words to describe just how much fun it is. We’ll get bored of it for a bit only for our interest to be rekindled but stronger! It really is absolutely awesome.
I haven’t played COD 4 in months, which is weird. Don’t think I’ll be getting the new maps that were released for that. I can save my MS Points for when the Exclusive downloadable content for GTA is released (probably in August).

I’ve been looking into buying a 360 for awhile now and am pretty close to having enough cash saved up but I’m a little confused about the different versions out there. I found a refurbished one on EBgames for $200 without a hard drive. Would I still be able to play and save games with this? Do I at least need a memory card of some sort? I’m basically just looking to play GTA: 4 right now with plans to upgrade later if need be. Any advice would be helpfull.
