Where is mr. blue?
come on, bexi think for yourself. just because a movie character says it doesn’t make it true.
But it’s true! Even Quentin Tarantino thinks it! And he’s always right!

LOOK! Straight men can’t wear pink. It’s like a law. They can’t even buy something remotely pink wthout being considered gay. Hell, they should’nt even use the word.

We live in a very closed minded society. If a man cries, he gay. If a man watches Dirty dancing, he’s gay. That’s just the way it is. A girl can kiss another girl and she won’t be considered gay, however if a man kisses another man then he’s run out of town. That’s just the way we live.

If it was up to me, I’d change it, I really would. But we can’t, so you’ll just have to live with it. Sorry :-/ .

:frowning:

Pink is hip

And the statement that a straight man wearing pink is gay is laughable

People who think that are just narrow minded

Even those little icons are pink for females and blue for males on the left under our avatars!

I KNOW! Guess what? It annoys me

Only a true Pimp can wear pink.

I know this is late and all, but on a DVD extra from 2002, Eddie Bunker mentioned that they were supposed to shoot a scene where you see what happened to Mr. Blue, but they ran out of money and so that scene never happened. As a result, he is in 2 scenes, chronologically he’s first seen at the place they all meet up and get their names and at the diner, where he has a couple lines where he comments about liking Madonna’s early work but tuned out when she went through her “Papa Don’t Preach” Phase, when Mr. Brown mentions her song “Like A Virgin” where the girl has so much dick, he asks “How many dicks is that?” and Mr. White replies “A lot.” He then comments to Mr. Pink about their waitress being nice and when Mr. Pink comments she wasn’t anything special, he retorts with “What’s special? Take you in the back and suck your dick?” Obviously, Mr. Blue is a very small character in the film and likely meant to be the most veteran criminal out of them all as he’s the oldest of the 6 man crew, but it’s unfortunate we never got to get that third scene of Mr. Blue running from the cops, no doubt getting into a gun fight with them, possibly shooting a cop or two before being killed by the police. If only that money didn’t run out, but then again the film was $1.1 million and with everything you see in the film, it’s not too surprising that some stuff wasn’t shot like Mr. Blue’s death.

Yeah, I’ve always found it a bit odd too. I think the reason Bunker’s Mr. Blue doesn’t get much attention on the cover or soundtrack is because his role is pretty small compared to the main crew. The movie really focuses on the core group of characters, so it makes sense they’d highlight them more. I’ve seen that postcard you’re talking about, and I guess it’s just a little Easter egg for fans who catch the reference. But yeah, I think it’s just how the marketing chose to handle it.
