What is the go go ball called

i’m trying to find one but i dont know what the thing is really called

My guess is that no weapon like that has ever existed. It was made just for the film. Hence, no specific name.

In related news, according to the trivia seen here Chiaki wanted to keep that weapon (2 of them were made. One had a heavier ball) but Miramax said no.

Nice site, by the way. 8)

It’s like the flying guillotine, it doesn’t exist. I never knew that Chiaki wanted to keep the prop. I guess Miramax knew how dangerous she was. ;D

I heard somewhere that it was called the “bloody tear”!!!

…Shame about the music. Dogg Pound Gangstaz produced some wicked tracks back in the day but now its just all bling bling dollar bill crap.

Anyway…with regards to your question about what the ball is called, well in a QT interview he said so many people asked him that question but he hadn’t given it a proper name so he just calls it “The Go Go Ball”…

hey have you heard the new juvenile album?

shits amazing but must be heard with big speakers

PM me if you want to get the tracks one by one

isnt the go-go ball that medieval weapon they used in Gladiator? or maybe its just similiar

Isn’t it just a customized mase on a chain? I say customized because of the blade that comes out.

Mace? Flail? Those are the two things I think of when I see the Go-Go ball.

But that’s not the important matter here. The Real question is:

OH I WONDER WONDER WONDER WONDER WHAT’S IT THE GO-GO BALL?

Flail

Mace

I think Go-Go’s weapon is more like a mace. Just subsitute a wooden grip with 100 yards of chain.

PULP DOG

I don’t think it was 100 yards. That would be a little long

It’s a just a spit. Like whne you say ‘Starkey is being a jackass’ Now yer not really a jackass.

This is a jackass:

This is Starkey:

Actually this is me http://mcmoment.tripod.com/acousticmoment/id10.html…I am a jackass

BACK ON TOPIC: If you ask me, it’s a real weapon, not made for the movie. I’m going to check that out right now.

Ball on chain. There. Done.

I’ve heard some people say Chiaki is Japan’s Hillary Duff, what with her popularity, film credits, record deal, etc. But somehow I doubt that Hillary Duff would ever be in a movie where she’d get her foot impaled by a nail on a block of wood and then get it slammed into her head, dying with blood pouring out of her eyes. And that’s what makes Chiaki cool.

That’s also what makes Japan cool.

Who here thinks Chiaki and Zhang should do a movie together?

ASIAN LESBIAN PORN!!!

I doubt it’s a real weapon because of the extending blades – that seems a little too sophisticated for medieval times. Purely a fictional weapon, albeit a cool one.
