What film will you be watching tonight? (v)

Watched for the second time and taped Casshern…

I’ve seen bits of Casshern, what I saw was MTV editing with bad CGI, basically a japanese anime Michael Bay sci-fi action film. It sucked.

Meh i wasnt expecting it to be too great when i first saw it, i was just expecting an entertaining live action anime adaptation.. i think its only a $6 million dollar film.. like alot of japanese works it gets pritty phylosopical at the end.. kinda reminds me of metal gear solid in that respect

Metal Gear what?

I will be watching “Igor and the Lunatics”

I TRIED to watch Spartacus today, but I just couldn’t get through it. I just found it SO boring that I just couldn’t be bothered to keep watching. Am I the only one who feels this way? I think my expectations were just to high.

I watched Lawrence of Arabia earlier today and I thought it was great. I think I’m just disappointed because the acting is so different. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Peter O’Toole’s acting. He really reminded me of James Dean in Rebel Without A Cause. Just the sensitivity and the free spiritedness of both of the characters. Their vulnerability while still being a daring. I don’t know. Anyways, maybe I’ll just shelve Spartacus for now and try to watch it in again a few days…

Lawrence of Arabia is a film that feels much shorter than it is. It’s unbelievably entertaining.

Wait, so you DON’T like Micheal Bay?

That movie is good, very good. If Gordon Pinsent was 20 years younger and 30 pounds lighter he could be my fathers twin. That makes the movie a lot harder for me to watch because I’m a very sensitive person and care a lot for my father, so seeing the sad scenes makes me really sad.

I was really surprised by that fact. I often put on long English movies when I paint, because I enjoy watching good movies while I do my artwork; but I couldn’t paint, I just stared at the screen the whole time. I couldn’t look away! ;D
