Dude, she literally did not know that QT didn’t direct Hostel. That’s why she left. Don’t blame me for her ignorance. I’m not some cruel bitch that’s out to get people. I just think that people should show some respect and read shit before they post. I mean, you should know shit like that.

Well, after a year, I guess you’re not a newbie anymore. But it depends on your frequency to post, how interesting you are, such stuff. But it’s nothing compared to us, vets, cause we’ve been here since 5 to 7 years now.

I’m on another at the moment has just had some 15 year old girl sign up and she constantly does one word posts that are completely irrelevant. And then goes ahead and disrespects all the moderators, but they’re too lazy to do anything.
That’s another reason why I love the QTA, it’s so efficiently run. And everybody always has something to say.

There are kids that do that at peggster all the time. They will reply to an old thread with just a smiley or something. Most of them chill out after a month or so. Unless they are from the Philippines for some reason. But kids these days always post like crazy at first, then they die out and go away when they find something new to like.
As far as being a newb or vet, I don’t get it. I’ve been a fan of QT for over half my life, which is longer than some people here have been alive. I’d never even thought of joining a fansite forum before 2006 because it always just seemed a bit weird and sad to me. I thought they were just for the uber-obsessed crazies. Then I joined the Nick Frost site, and realized the people weren’t like that at all. It’s not much different than being a fan of a sports team, and the people are pretty cool, barring some examples. Point being, just because someone had more free time or more steady internet connection, or admitted the extent of their fandom before you, doesn’t necessarily make you less of a member or them more of a fan.

… changed … i just mean that I stayed affascinated of the style of QT, I enjoyed the story, the music… whole movie so much, I was -teens, and for me it remain forever like cult-movie … if can I explain me well…
Ok. I thought you meant you risked your life to meet him or something. facepalm
But anyway, that’s one of the things that is so awesome about Quentin. His movies translate VERY well because they are written and shot in the universal language of cinema.
It’s great to have new QT fans find there way here, though it is a bit slow here at the moment. We just underwent a massive forum-design change. But I think it will pick up soon.
