WELCOME, INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE (if you're new)

Yeah, some jokes are best when they explode onto the scene and disappear in minutes.

I don’t think it’s THAT offensive.
Not really at all. It being the second most offensive name just goes to show how unoffensive the names here are. Despite how embarrassingly unoriginal a lot of them are.

I guess if you’re a Jew it might be a little offensive. Or if you’re one of those people that strongly believes Hitler was a great man. In that context demeaning his name by using it as your internet handle might be offensive.

#483

About the unoriginal names, I really didn’t know I’d last this long on this board, but I just love it. Now I don’t want to change my name, or people might think I’m someone else, you know what I mean.

#484

Yeah, it always confuses the shit out of me for awhile when people change their names. Unless it’s something simple like the people adding military ranks to their names lately. Ooh, there ya go. Change your name to General Grindhouse. Sounds like a pro wrestler.

#485

How’d you get your name, Dex? Is your real name Dexter?

#486

General Grindhouse? hmmmm, I kinda like it.

When I was a kid I used to draw this horrible character and write even worse short stories all about a guy named Dexter. As I got older his name became Dex and when I got into the wonderful world of internet I just started using it as my handle.

Most places I have to add something onto it because Dex is already taken but I’ve never actually run into another one.

Ah! That’s brilliant! Way better than my stupid self using my own name.

Hello everyone Im new here. My name is Abraham and obviously Im a QT fan. First film of his that I saw was Reservoir Dogs. I rented the movie purely base on it’s cool cover. I had no idea who this tarantino guy was and never heard of any of his films. Reservoir Dogs is probably my favorite QT movie. It’s also the first oh his movies that I own because after I returned it to the rental place I accidently retured it w/o the disc and shortly after about a month the place of which I rented the movie “Warehouse Music” was shut down. And to my lucky stars I was not charged for the missing DVD. So the moral of the story is always return your rentals with out the disc and you will not be charged and Rental store will be shut down eventually and you won’t have to pay a dime for your cool new movie.

Hehe, sorry for the stupid story in this post but I didn’t want to introduce myself by just stating my name and that Im a fan of QT. BTW Im also a huge Davie Allan & the Arrows fan as you can tell by my Avatar. But anyways it good to be here.

#493

Hi Abraham! Welcome! Thanks for the introduction.

#494

Hi and welcome

#495

Hi CycleDelic, I like your nickname

#496

Thanks fellas it’s good to be here. RatQuiRit “Cycle Delic” is a tune by DA & the Arrows. You can hear it here. BTW one of his songs “Devil’s Rumble” is gonna be in Inglorious Basterds. It’s got lots of Fuzz!!! I can’t wait to hear the song In the movie.

Hi there!

I’m Julia, altough most people call me Jules.

I’m 18 years old and I live in Austria one of the rather boring countries in this world i think. Since english is not my mother language it is possible that not everything I’m writing also makes sense…

Obviously I love Quentin Tarantino movies, mostly because of their individuality, but also because of the characters and the music. I can’t remember when I first saw a Quentin Tarantino movie, somehow these films were always present in my life, since my father is also a fan of QT movies.

I just finished school this summer and at the moment I want to study directing and movie making, although there are not many possibilities for something like that in Austria, so I’m thinking (or rather dreaming) about moving to California

That’s it… i think…

Nice to be here,

Jules

Hello

I live in New Zealand and I’m a new Tarantino fan but I’ve seen all his films though. I first saw Pulp Fiction a few months ago and loved it, after that I just started watching all Tarantino films. So far Inglourious Basterds is my favourite with Reservoir Dogs a close second.

I hope I’ll stay on these forums long enough to get to know all of you people.
