Five movies a day? What are they? Kill Bill Vol 1, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill Vol 2?
I have seen a hell of a lot of movies, own over 600 titles, and can a good movie when I see one. By Tarantino standards, Vol 2 was disappointing.

QT’s dialogue is some of the best in the business, but after RD, PF, DBD and JB, Vol 2 was a series let down

I used to think the same, before it grew on me. I now think Volume 2 is almost as good Volume 1!!
i’ve been avoiding posting in this thread for a while, but here goes nothin.
i was a bit disappointed with vol. 2, but do i think it was in any way a poor film? NO.
i was disappointed with vol. 2 only because i was expecting something completely different. i went into vol. 2 looking for a movie that was at least slightly similar to vol. 1. i absolutely loved vol. 1. vol. 2 just didn’t do it for me. when i rewatch it, there are many parts of it that i really enjoy, but as a whole, it was just not what i was looking for.
was i disappointed? yes.
was it a bad movie? no.

I wasn’t disappointed at all. I went to see Volume 2 without thinking ‘is it gonna be like Volume 1?’ or ‘Will the dialogue sound like Pulp Fiction?’ At all. I saw a fantastic movie. Tarantino is magic.
I suggest you tell others to “calm the fuck down”. I dont think my reply came off as aggressive, maybe your another one who cannot handle that some people didnt enjoy Vol. 2

I still can’t decide which is better; 1 or 2. They’re both great while very different. Upon seeing Vol. 2 for the first time, it was my favorite between both. Now though, they’re about the same.
I gotta say though, the music at the beginning, before it even starts during the logo, makes me smile every damn time. I get a sense of satisfaction. Not many movies do that to me.
I feel they do justice in their own right. Vol.1 was about coolness and style. Vol.2 was about character and story. As one, it is a pretty fuckin’ kickass film.
I dont really understand this thread. It is basically for people who didn’t like it or thought it was disappointing, but when some of us do say it is, we ar met with a barrage of insults. :
