Has any other aussie members been getting into this show? i didn’t think it would be much but its so engaging and shocking the trailers didn’t do it justice either and its hard to think this shit really happened
Just from the picture it looks like an Australian Sopranos. Is that what it is?

Kind of, the guy at the front is prob the one character you would wouldn’t be surprised to see on the sopranos (btw its Neville Bartos from the chopper movie), its more about just underworld figures and the chubby baby faced driver who ends up ruling the streets, knowing that its a true story makes it worth watching. Its not really like the sopranos at all, its filmed with the quick cuts and fast zooms so technically its nothing like the sopranos in that aspect. But it has a fair bit of violence, nudity which is surprising for a popular aussie show.
Ive never heard of this… i dont watch much regular tv… but ill keep a look out for it…
it’s banned by court order in victoria so a fair few viewersw miss out there, theres a cathup thing on next thursday with all eps being repeated
It actually looks pretty interesting the more I look into it. I think I’m gonna download the first episode and at least give it a shot.
It’s based on real events in the Melbourne underworld - a ten year war that’s been going on. I haven’t watched it yet and all I’ve heard about it is stuff from people at film school complaining about the sound and lighting. But then again, those same people always have something to complain about.
i can see why they wouldnt like it, it has pretty good production values and like i said before it’s quite modern in its presentation it suits the way most of these drugged up gangsters were
