One major problem will be height.
Judy was 4’11" and Anne is at least 5’10"!
But hey if anyone saw The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button we all know that can be fixed with a little cgi. I also wonder who will play the young 10-14 year old Judy, where do you find a girl with that voice?

That doesn’t mean a thing. If you know anything about Nic Cage, you know that he is a damn good actor, he’s just going through a rough stretch, I mean just look at Mickey Rourke, one good role will show the entire world what he can really do.

there is an even curious biopic going on: a three stooges movie, starring Sean Penn as Larry, Jim Carrey as Curly and Benicio del Toro as Moe. what a weird idea and a weird cast. definitly this judy garland movie seems like a great idea in comparison…
bio: have you ever seen ziegfield follies?? there is a segment directed by Minelli in it, imo one of the funniest scene with Judy Garland. she shows an amazing talent for physical comedy in this one.
yeah. She did The Clock with him too. It was a project that Minnelli never intended to do, there were a lot of unhappy people with the screenplay until Minnelli decided to take over and he used NY as a character in the script. Great stuff in her life - how can anyone not be excited!
