Look, when they released Red Dragon, no one seemed to care that it was dated 8 years before Silence of the Lambs, and that Hopkins was now 12 years or so older. They call this concept The Suspension of Disbelief. A Vega Bros. movie would be very entertaining indeed. And at the end of the day, that is all that matters. Besides, how many threads do you read about Uma’s hair stayle changing during the Kill Bill Films.
ah what the heck, just don’t call it vega brothers and just make a movie, i mean, we all know tarantino won’t do it. if he ever comes up with a gangster film again, he’ll just make it and not call it vega brothers. at least i believe that
I wouldn’t put anything past Quentin- if there’s anything we should know, is if he wants to do something (no matter how stupid it may seem), he’s gonna just do it. I hope it turns out alright if/when he ever does the Vega Bros picture.

Exactly this is the point. The "era"of gangster movies is over for this time. Maybe sometimes he’ll come back to this genre, but i really cannot imagine what to bring in into a Vega brothers movie. Two guys sittin’ the whole day in a coffee shop or bar drinkin something and talking cool? Vega Brothers would be too forced…
